This song always reminded me of a hurricane. It comes in heavy and hard, then theres that part of it where its calm, you're in the eye of the storm, and then it ends heavy.
@@salcedo47 True, but it is what it is.. he does both. Good on him. Example, Daniel Johns of Silverchair didn't NEED to play intricate guitar While being a perfect vocalist, but he could do it by himself, and I think we should celebrate those talented enough to do these awesome things, otherwise you're just a hater.
Why is their any negativity revolving around this video at all? This performance was flawless. Phil's scream in the beginning was insane. Try to sustain a scream like that for that long.
there should be a lot a of negativity. Phil can't sing a god damn straight note. overall tempo is slowed down and both drums and guitar are changed so that they can actually play their music. and the guitarist completely shits out on the solo which ruins the whole song. this band is a waste of money to see live and a perfect example of letting stardom keep them from playing regularly.
+Billy Cobb think youve a valid point. Oli is one of my favourite guitarist ever, love the phrasing in his solos, but they're not good live. Crazy just how sloppy they can be when they wrote such amazing stuff. Still have massive respect for their song writing but its always a bit disappointing checking out their live videos
To put in simple terms of how flat he is 90% of the time. Imagine shaking a bottle of Coke and opening it about 100 times until there’s no carbonation, he’s about that flat.
saw them last night in Lubbock they were amazing, his voice sounded perfect, the drums were even better live, guitars melted my face, and bass kicked my kidneys.
i have to admit when i heard the studio version i was like "yea, no way he can do this live".....holy FUCKING shit i was wrong....this guy is incredible
This song is so close to my heart! Spent hours on expert mode in GH2 trying to nail this 100% (cuz I could never beat Jordan). Never ever thought I’d hear Phil on my favorite podcast of all time
that's exactly the same for me. They have been my favorite band ever since. When I got to see them play this live in person last year it was the greatest thing ever.
What an amazing live performance, he replicates the vocals better than any other live performance (by any band, any song) Ive ever heard. Wish I'd have been there..
I've only been listening to these guys for a while now, i have to say, i really enjoy listening to them. Honestly, if someone gave me the choice of a rock concert or rap concert, id say rock, because it sounds 300% better because all of the sound are coming from REAL instruments. And most lyrics are just genius in rock.
I miss these days. Phil was a maniac, Oli and Mike shredded, Jeanne was a great compliment to Phil, and Jason is probably one of the most underrated drummers.
+TheInfantFinite666 Just saw them on Wednesday, they sound perfect live, like they played Six and the vocals were spot on, much better than in this video.
I first got into the heavier genres of metal because of this song and this band. I first heard it on Guitar Hero, in like 8th grade at my friend's house. We used to play this song all the time, then I finally got to see them at Mayhem and KRockathon, I have so much respect for this band and they're the reason I got into metalcore and heavier music.
people need to not cry about them not sounding the same anymore, a war you cannot win is its own album, for we are many is its own album, the fall of ideals is its own album. they are the same band. they still sound badass. they write impressive music in all albums. quit crying about it and listen to the songs you like, goddamn.
Phil is an amazing singer, nuff said. Not many can do live performance like this, i think he sings better live than in studio :)) Sorry for my bad english but i'm from Sweden so it is pretty difficult for me :) All respect to Phil from Sweden!
All That Remains played a massive role in my early introduction to Metalcore
Same here, this song got me into ATR and the world of metalcore
They straight up made me a metal fan when I was 6.
Same ATR was my first screamo band!
Hater Potater Samee dude
yeah bro , para mi igual
Rest In Peace, Mr. Herbert. Your guitar skills were astonishing. You will never be forgotten.
Who?
@@Odd_Combo the guitarist was found dead about 2 years ago

Dang! His cleans were so good during this era and the screams were incredibly amazing.
Incredible philip labonte 🤯🤘
Can't wait for the new album
He did both vocals the screaming and the singing and killed it cx
Both?
In my opinion Phil Labonte is one of the Greatest Metal Singers ever.Cheers Phil.🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Phil’s screams sound even more metal live it’s wild
This song always reminded me of a hurricane. It comes in heavy and hard, then theres that part of it where its calm, you're in the eye of the storm, and then it ends heavy.
Yes. Each and every thing.
Wow I didn't know the lead singer did all the vocals for this song! That's really impressive how he can change back and forth like that.
Actually I think It shouldn't be like this... Other person should do the melodic part to make a better live show
@@salcedo47 do they usually use 2 people or are you saying they should use 2 people?
@@metalflameful I'm saying that they should

@@salcedo47 maybe YEARS ago... vocalists today are so talented, they can absolutely pull both off live
This song shaped my addiction to music. RIP Oli \m/

+Connor Jones are you listening to the same vocals as me? sounds awful and I really do like this band but he cleans are terrible

the drummer is fucking insane
the fact that he actually played this faster than the original is absurd
Ah can I bring you to 2024 and ask you to visit their new song? With a new drummer? :)
I'm so damn impressed...his vocals are incredible, the barefoot double bass is soo hard, strong guitars...I don't even have the words.
Porn live six chubby
That wicked fuckin' drummer is playing traditional.!!!
Agreed Insane Timinvg Brother!!!
Absolutely banging performance. Always be my favorite band. All the haters i see hating dont appreciate how hard it is to sing like that.
All that Remains is one of the best things that ever happened to metalcore.
saw them last night in Lubbock they were amazing, his voice sounded perfect, the drums were even better live, guitars melted my face, and bass kicked my kidneys.
I love the solo in the middle of the song. It sounds like its from a whole different genre of music but blends in so well with the song.
ok, these guys are sick live. so many bands just don't deliver outside a studio. fuggin talent.
Watching this in 2021. They still sound great! Love every one of Ollie's solos.
:(
These guys, AILD, and In flames are my fav live bands
This performance/DVD is what really made me fall in love with ATR. Still one of my favorite live videos.
Rip Ollie. Gone but not forgotten.
i have to admit when i heard the studio version i was like "yea, no way he can do this live".....holy FUCKING shit i was wrong....this guy is incredible
The drummer is a bullet!!! \m/ and phil is awesome :)

That solo man holy shit i wish I could play like him
02:19, i miss that sound 😔
All that remains is soooooo good!! Great to listen to when doing work.
Miss your music Oli. Thank you for everything. 💚
that's exactly the same for me. They have been my favorite band ever since. When I got to see them play this live in person last year it was the greatest thing ever.
Dont u just love when u hear a band live that plays your favorite song and it sounds exactly like the 1 on the record..... I mean voice wise
Killswitch Engage e All That Remains detonam juntos. Grandes bandas de Metalcore.
I saw them twice, May 2007 in Grand Rapids and then at Clutch Cargos Nov 2007 in Pontiac. Both those shows were really good.
Same goes for the guitarist for that matter, this is one of those songs that just kicks your ass to play.
I love those lyrics. They fit so perfect for the song, and the performance really complements the emotion in the song well.
Dude he sounds amazing live, i really got to see them.
One of my favorite riffs!
How they can go from a god damn masterpiece like this to A War You Cannot Win is beyond me.
He might not be able to sing live like he does in the studio, but he sure as hell can scream.
hearing them live makes me feel better about myself
Such a nostalgic song. I love the part where he goes “aAaAhHhH” 🙃
What an amazing live performance, he replicates the vocals better than any other live performance (by any band, any song) Ive ever heard. Wish I'd have been there..
R.I.P Ollie Herbert you was awesome.
Oli rest in peace. Your music will always soothe me. Whip that hair back and forth in heaven, Oli. You are a musical composition master in my eyes.
This is like the most codependent post-narcissist song ever. I love it.

I've seen them live 3 times, every single time, I'm blown away. GO ATR!!!
I see her in my dreams, WISH THAT SHE WASN'T THERE
Absolutely fucking kickass. I wish like hell I could play for a band like this.
i remember the first time i ever heard that intro riff and the overwhelming euphoria i felt
awe, to love this band and trivium these two are my favorite lol
all i can say is they put on a great live show, saw them in toronto few months back and im never missin another show in my area
Switching that often between clean and dirty vocals seems impossible to do live. Forever impressed by anyone able to pull that off.
The best live performance lord oh lord....
This is best metal song ever made
cant wait to see yas again.... after my time i will be out to many more shows again... you guys rock...
in the 70s every listened to music like techno now every one should listen to metal so we can set the bar for the future
I went to look this up, and it came up with “six the musical”. I regret ever hitting play on that video man. Now this is downright badassery
The drums are sooooooooooooooooooooooo clean! Sounds badass.
These guys are probably one of THE best live metalcore bands
didn't know metal shows could possibly sound so good.
Been listening to Tim Cast with Phil for years. I knew he was one, but I did not even know him as a metal star. HOLY SHIT!
Janine was a beast on bass. Got to meet the band after a show in tn, and got some pics. Great guys. Oli will be missed

Eric Schmid exactly dude
3 years ago you were 13
double drumm bass = beast!
Love seeing Jeanne singing along with Phil.
Wow.. I thought the drumming was speed up like Dragonforce, but Jason Costa (Drummer) is freaking insane xD
You should listen to this music with the original drummer for this album's song then (Shannon Lucas). I think you will like it even more ;)
Dave Mackintosh from DF doesn't speed his drums up lol, he's no longer in the band but he's insane. Look up his playthroughs.
***** Dragonforce is sped up. Look it up.
what do you mean by speeding it up?
Dragonforce records the songs then speeds them up. On at least inhumane rampage they did
Phil is an amazing singer, nuff said.
Not many can do live performance like this, i think he sings better live than in studio :))
Sorry for my bad english but i'm from Sweden so it is pretty difficult for me :)
