0:25 "There's a good chance he's not going to become a good player" - Thorin (Too much work to type all that) *Stewie and C9 wins Boston ELEAGUE Major*
I don't see why the parents should get ridiculed. Parents didn't grow up in this technological age. New professions are rising up from pretty much anything, even hobbies like gaming. Cut them slack. They believed no good could come because a team offer isn't just an everyday occurrence (and they neither that it'd be a sustainable profession). Besides, eSports really does get a lot of backlash for what it is. Most people see it as a dumb thing. Not that I see it that way.
Andrew Park well parents grew up in a different era and want you to have a happy life. They don’t want you to join a career that sounds dumb to them and they have no idea what it is. Plus it’s a super risky route because the esports field is very competitive and super risky at such a young age.
@@CIARUNSITE I'm pretty sure they didn't dump him there..just like any immigrants parents that thought it was best for him to get his education in the us..even though they were working outside. It's immigrant problems..for us it's quite understandable.
@@krishnaraju6790 Except it said the parents lived in the US and worked in Asia, not that they lived in Asia. Dumping your kid off on a family member is not how you give your child a better life.

When stewie became a thing I liked him but my brother said he was trash so I was like “eh” but one night I was watching clips and I saw stewie. Just the way he played and got this mad ace. I knew he had potential.
Those video was a blast to watch. It was so perfectly made. The build up of stewie’s story and everything bad happening in his life and not seeing success. And then showing how FaZe kept on being the team they would never win against. And then they finally showed they had a chance against them. Then it came to a ton of intense matches, and then the final game going into overtime, until they finally beat them and the announcers explaining how important this was to stewie.

This is some movie level shit.. The strong red collored villain who won easily everytime they faced, you have the hero who is not expected to win, they also had the goodguy blue collors. On the big tournament our heroes are facing failiure but they climb back and closely beat the big bad villain in the finals! Unsupported kid who everybody doubted about proved everyone wrong, underdog team comeback from almost droping out again to the big victory.. I would watch this movie Now stewie decided to run chapter 2. He was expected to be even better with this new team but they are struggling. Now they are gonna start over, slowly get back up and in the final of another major they will meet his old team - c9
He shouldn't have went to SK though, kinda weird seeing how he idolised C9 and won a tournament with them after so much hard work and then decides to join another team afterwards.
Is probably because he wants more,in 2017 SK (actual MiBR) won literally EVERYTHING but a major,if stewie has a forward looking mind,he obviously had to accept the offer,he struggled a lot with C9,I am sure that struggling a bit with MiBR isn't a problem for him, specially cause they got a DreamTeam now,and getting to the top is just a matter of time! :D

Stewie is awesome, i love him. I just hope one day i'll meet him. Love you Stewie!
i think the initial reason these analyst thinks he can't perform really well in the big stage with a very big team is because.....to be really honest...he has the face that cracks up under pressure...he doesn't have the "pizzaz" so to speak. But I never felt so glad to be wrong at something because this guy...this guy is amazing. despite every negativity thrown at him...including his parents who didn't believed in him...at such a young age...he surpassed every shit and prevailed.. most kids his age..hell, even adults, would eventually give up and roll over if they were in his shoes. Finally the stewie story is here, surprised you didn’t include his high school fight
haha ye i was thinking about that
Lol, why would that be part of the story, this is a story about his csgo career, not from his high school
Skemise what fight

Honestly, this channel is amazing. professionally made, interviews, gameplay, and sources it's amazing and so well done.
He really signed the contract after midnight. a true legend
@@jeffreyou19
Mhm.
Ya we shouldn't ridicule that. We should ridicule the fact they dumped him off on a family member. They sound like incredibly shitty people.
Stewie2k’s story is somehow like mine
Minus the pro plays
NZXEagle yeah same
Me too.
Me too lmao. 6 months late
yeah guys your story is that you are a failure. just like most of us
Stewie has a computer but gets confiscated
Me:dont have a pc still playin at a cafe iam sad:(
in your case its actually better than not being able to play at all, stewie and my situation is the same rn (not that i would be going pro though) by same situation i mean i also have a gaming pc but gets confiscated and not being able to play games.
When stewie became a thing I liked him but my brother said he was trash so I was like “eh” but one night I was watching clips and I saw stewie. Just the way he played and got this mad ace. I knew he had potential.
Your brother is an idiot
Cloud9 deserved every piece of that major.. no one can say they didn't earn it!
lol
I do
@LucifeRy im just pissed that faze blew 6 round in a row
Those video was a blast to watch. It was so perfectly made. The build up of stewie’s story and everything bad happening in his life and not seeing success. And then showing how FaZe kept on being the team they would never win against. And then they finally showed they had a chance against them. Then it came to a ton of intense matches, and then the final game going into overtime, until they finally beat them and the announcers explaining how important this was to stewie.
I feel bad for shroud. Unless he’s happy he left the team and csgo
I think at the time he left cloud 9 he was making over 50k a month before taxes just from twitch subs
He "retired"
He wanted to leave me told them that he will be their backup so that he can focus on streaming
I know he makes more money now, but it was really exciting to watch him at pro leagues
Amazing video. Great job guys!
Me: *throws smoke in any game*
Stewie: *hey*
you are doing a really good job!
true fact 90% of the parents wont support gaming 😖😖😖
and 99% of gaming addicted teens will not make lifetime money with it. school/university on the other hand..
@@johannespbh school/university on the other hand is still not worth it when you have to take student loans just to get a degree
@@johannespbh
Plenty of pathways open up for eSports players. University is a 30/70 chance and usually sucks.
I would rather lose my small school chances and pursue my dream than lose my dream and pursue my small school chances.

Stewie2k's story with Cloud9 is pretty similar to Messi's with Argentina
。。。
no lol Messi didnt win he was just so close but stew did won 1
Lmao dont tell me your counting olympic gold as a trophy
lol messi grew up with a opportunity already given too him.
@@k0nstantineeee You are aware Messi grew up poor with a hormone deficiency right? His story is amazing any way you cut even counting upsets with Argentina and I say this as a Madrid fan.
now look at him winning IEM Dallas 2024 with G2... what a player
I would watch this movie
Now stewie decided to run chapter 2. He was expected to be even better with this new team but they are struggling. Now they are gonna start over, slowly get back up and in the final of another major they will meet his old team - c9
Extremely good content as always
Years later, I still get goosebumps and a buzz in my body watching that solo B-hold...
He shouldn't have went to SK though, kinda weird seeing how he idolised C9 and won a tournament with them after so much hard work and then decides to join another team afterwards.
Nocturnal inside team problems
money
Nocturnal no
..in the end. no matter what u do. no matter how u do it , in this society. winning is all that matters
AMAZING CONTENT AS USUAL

Statistically esports is garbage as a career. You're 92500 times more likely to get into Harvard than go pro in esports, and esports aren't stable at all.
@@felixyu4979 but if you dont go to school for weeks to play video games you might as well pick the esports career because you've probably built up your skill pretty far like in stews case
@@manju1045 Right but what I mean is that you shouldn't be not going to school in the first place because that just leaves you with less options aside from esports. It's just too risky in my opinion.
I think this is the perfect story to represent how you can do anything you want to do, no matter what holds you down, like his family not supporting him and his pretty bad grades in school. He just wanted to play cs and he played cs a lot and got GOOD at it. Inspiring.
Awesome video as always
It's basically a video from Cloud9 and a thanks for stewie2k also a farewell, good job theScore Esport I love your videos
when his parents saw him win money they prob realized at that moment they fucked up
Now he has it all with Team Liquid!!! Lots of respect for this young and talented man!!!
Im crying, such a beatiful video! C9 is my favourite team and has always been. I remember when They won the major i started crying then aswell because i was proud of them, especially stewie. He is my idol and i will always support him no matter what, and btw holy shit the major final was the best csgo game in history
In cs since 1.6 never had a favorite team or org. Players change orgs a lot so I just followed my favorite player. Which has always been swag, stewies cool too tho

I dont really know how to describe how much i see up to him. Im so happy he got the life he wanted, he is an example on that people can be what they want. By working hard, practicing.

I'm surprised this guy could even stand coz his balls, not to mention his heart, must've been the size of a fcking basketball.
Is it pizzaz or pizazz?
