    Hello!! I think everyone should use this Amigurumi book tag and begin doing as you want to do, making one Amigurumi a month from the books they have!!! Then they could share with others about the books and patterns and what they thought....In regards to magazines, I LOVE finding old magazines at yard sales etc...I enjoy not only looking through them, but making patterns from them... I have been wanting to make that kaleidoscope afghan myself!!! It is so pretty in those colors!!! Do you have enough yarn to finish it?? The little fleece coat is super adorable as well!! Gotta have the doll book! Keep crocheting yarny friend 💜💜💜

      Hello Alanna! I was just thinking the same thing about the book tag!. I want to keep making various Amigurumi from the books I have and then show them and the book using the hash tag. It's a great idea! thanks. I like yard sailing too. I find yarn and books. I also like to look in the thrift stores for books.The stained glass Afghan is a really old WIP. I do have the yarn for it still. IDK if I'll ever finish it lol. Thanks for watching!

    I would like to suggest that you complete a few more stained glass squares, and place them in a picture frame to hang. Sometimes our projects become overwhelming and we just give up. Well, don't quit. Change your direction of plan so you can conquer the battle. You can do it.

    • @Curlymoosecrochets
      @Curlymoosecrochets  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Peggy! Thanks for the suggestion. I think I will complete a few more squares and then see how it goes. I started that project more than 6 years ago lol. I struggled with following the pattern but it might be easier for me now. Thanks for watching my video! 😊💕

    A dowel should work, but it needs to be long enough to extend up into the body quite far to support the weight, breadth and height of the rooster. Often I will use florist wire along with a dowel to get a 90 degree angle to bend at the ankle into the feet. Stuff it really hard in the legs. For less large characters, you can buy 3mm (also 1.5 & 2) aluminum wire for legs and arms. For dolls I sometimes use bendable hair curlers in the neck to support the head and neck. Nice video. Thank you.

      @@Curlymoosecrochets I would probably use a wooden dowel, but let it go a bit higher up into the body of the hen, to sort of keep her balanced. And all the way down to where you attach the foot.

    To make the stitches like an X, you ‘yarn under’, instead of ‘yarn over’. I just ordered all three Pica Pau books, and can barely wait until they arrive next week. I think I will make Cosmo Snail first. These will be my first crochet and or Amigurumi books. Best wishes growing your channel.

      Hi there, My problem was that I didn't read the forward of the book explaining her techniques. I just stared making it ha ha. I think I should have used cotton yarn as well. I plan to make more from this book. I want to order the other books soon. Her patterns are amazing. I would love to see how yours turn out. 😀 Thanks for watching!

    hey there! I found the dauber sponge paint brushes in pkgs. of 3 ( small, med. & large) @ the $1.25 dollar store and purchased 2 packages so I'd have 2 of each size, then I had a roll of the Super sticky double sided tape and wrapped the wood part w/tape then wrapped with fiber fill then inserted for neck or legs and it's worked perfectly! You already have your hen finished (❤) but possibly this may help in the future. I forget stuff too due to my shopping list of medical problems but crochet like the mad woman I am thru all the pain...it helps me to redirect my mind. But there are the days that even crochet can't save me! your stained glass pattern is incredibly beautiful and hopefully you linked the pattern because now I need one! TFS❤

    Hi! I don't know if you have finished your Greta piece or not yet, but I believe LePetitSaint Crochet has a video on tips to help your amigurumi stand up. If I remember correctly, she uses cardboard inside the legs to give stability. If you look at her tips and tricks videos, it's in there, but I don't know which one (sorry). I hope this helps!
