fun fact about the carrot war propaganda: it was actually told by Britain to disguise why british pilots were so good at night, because they had actually secretly started using radar to detect enemy bombers during night raids.
However, with respect, carrots do contain a good amount of Beta-Carotene, which the body turns into Vitamin-A and the Vitamin-A is known to help repair damage to many eye sight issues, to include low light vision (Rhodopsin needs Vitamin A as a cofactor in the formation of the Rhodopsin protein...so without Vitamin A, there is a chance of night-blindness occurring) Though, on another front, Beta-Carotene/Vitamin A is found in many other sources other than carrots.
One of my favorite moments of campaign 3 is Orem giving Imogen a hug after realizing sending works again. Also, I think one of these days Laudna is going to have to choose between Imogen and Delilah and I think they're going to have to 'contain' Laudna.
and its going to be interesting to see how the party handles it in comparison to everything that happened with Ashton -I love them all but I still see some of those reactions as slightly hypocritical :O
Woo! Just in time-I was just searching for something to watch :D Animate objects was the best spell marisha could’ve taken for laudna, and knowing (from the emerald city comic con panel) that it was purely coincidence makes it even better
The carrot story was a cover for the UK having Radar and being able to shoot down enemy planes. No one else had it yet. "Research led us to give pilots extra carrots, as it increases their low light vision" was the rumour spread.
Let's hope Grog hasn't found his faithful butter knife attack from Wilhan or his new Knight guardsman after those cards he pulled while looking for the Moon card.
yay! endless adoration be upon ye, marisharaygun! thanks for the great vid! every week, you capture moments i missed and i will be eternally grateful. have a good one!
5:20 That’s partially true. It was war propaganda, but it wasn’t (just?) because they had too many carrots. The allies had just invented radar and they didn’t want the Germans to figure out how they were bombing them during the night. So, they decided to spread false rumours to cover their tracks and, I dunno, I guess they thought tricking the Germans into eating carrots was funny.
This episode was AMAZING! All the feels! The Laura Liam hug made me cry! Then Jester showing up was hilarious! The lake was terrifying! I was anxious the whole time! I couldn’t sleep after that! I’m so excited for this week! I have no idea what’s going to happen next! I feel like we’re getting closer to the final confrontation with Ludinus! And don’t even get me started on the Delilah situation! I didn’t know about C1 until years later and just wasn’t interested in C2 but this campaign got me hooked! I haven’t missed an episode yet!
I really dont understand why people are complaining about c3 so much. The other campaign have all had times where the story dragged a bit but still had great moments. But we have had some amazing episodes lately and i feel sad for the people who stopped watching a while ago. They are missing out
The eating too many carrots will turn you slightly orange is true, my Grandmother did it as a diet and had a very slightly orange complexation when she was younger. The eyesight thing however, is false.
Carrots helping eyesight was a wartime claim, however it was actually told because the British had planes with radios and didn't want Germany to know how they were so good at winning conflicts, so they said it was carrots which also helped the surplus and children eat healthily.
Exactly. They even did an interview with pilot John Cunningham to perpetuate it, saying he was really good at shooting down planes at night because he ate loads of carrots.
My one fear with sending working again is that Ludinis can also use it and I'm almost certain he turned it back on. He could also be tapping our conversations.
Marisha was half right on the carrot thing! In WWII, the British had developed intercepting technology to shoot down German bombers before they could cross the English Channel. In order to try and keep that technology a secret, the British army created propoganda campaigns that said the carrots gave them superior night vision--and that *that* was how they could shoot down the German planes, not because of new tech. However, carrots can provide some benefits for eyesight. Carrots are rich in vitamin A, and vitamin A deficiences are linked to poor eyesight. There was a separate campaign done in the UK about eating more potatoes and carrots during the war, because that could be grown there and they wanted to encourage people to eat what they could grow in their gardens instead of relying on things that had to be imported--because go figure, importing things is a nightmare when your country is at war.
Am I the only one who went to watching multiple episodes in a row, to weekly views, then to only watching the highlights then finally just stop watching together? It feels forced bad and awkward now idk what happen this campaign started great now I can't even finish the highlight vidoes
I feel like Matt's bird NPCs are revenge for all of the Sam shirts 🤣
„He hasn’t blinked once“ got me
I hope Kiri shows up eventually.
It's the intense eye contact without blinking that killed me. Though, the 75 stacked messages from Jester is pretty amazing.
I like that the slightly suggestive echo after the final "Czepeku" is what broke Travis during the ad bit.
Wait…THAT’S how it’s spelled??????
@@JustinSIsTank I had to look it up; but yeah.
They're crazy if they don't get a Dread Pirate Laudna shirt feat. Ropey and Boaty into the shop ASAP
Idk how theyd pull it off but I desperately need a Boaty and Ropey plush
“Another voice pushes into your head like a bat out of hell”
I feel like we all could tell it was Jester just from that description.
delilah is such a smooth talker, it’s real convincing and real scary
I love how the rest of the cast slowly gets more involved 0:35 0:55
Travis dying through it all kills me even more😂😂

Marisha was on FIRE this whole episode. Love it so much.
Boaty and Ropey. Since their sentience is part of Laudna’s imagination, I picture them with huge googly eyes… at least Ropey
why did Liam hugging Laura hit me so hard 😭
I can't stop laughing at Matt's bird routine side-by-side Sam's distorted Matt face t-shirt.
That Jester cameo was amazing!!
JESTER!!!!!! THE WAY I FUCKINGN YELLED
13:32 when I tell you I gasped out loud.
I wish she had said after one of the sendings "are you pooping?"
I yelled YES outloud when watching the episode, I may have a problem 😂
I honestly think this ad was one of my all time favorites of Sam's.
One of my favorite moments of campaign 3 is Orem giving Imogen a hug after realizing sending works again. Also, I think one of these days Laudna is going to have to choose between Imogen and Delilah and I think they're going to have to 'contain' Laudna.

Dancing to the name Czepeku is the new uk'otoa chanting
I always appreciate and enjoy the chapter titles.
Nothing better than watching Laura talk to herself as the rest of the cast watches on...lol
Would it be too much to ask that grog be on the moon for some reason? Just because grog?
Let's hope Grog hasn't found his faithful butter knife attack from Wilhan or his new Knight guardsman after those cards he pulled while looking for the Moon card.

That Laudna-Delilah dynamic really reminds me of Sidious and Anakin 👀
Tired and cranky Travis makes for some hilarious quips.
Ropey KILLED me XD
Laura, Marisha and Ashley saying "Chetney..." in sync is so funny. 17:27

If we don't get a Dorym reunion soon, I'm going to lose my mind.
Ropey (voiced by Alan Tudyk)
That “Bastard man” got me 😂
Marisha vs. carrots is a fight I didn't know I needed until now.
Laudna as a pirate is hilarious
The carrots thing was to hide the existence of radar.
7:58 that's just gold
I hope thousands of people go and support Czepeku after the ad - which was genius - because the maps are incredible
I did
It’s been a while since we’ve had a good case of Laudna hair chaos. Ropey and Boaty coming alive helped give something I didn’t know I needed.
Yeah!!! Been waiting for this 🎉
Ropey sounds just like the janitors in Monsters Inc
Liam and Laura being siblings in every world. No matter what. 12:51
Find yourself someone who looks at you the way Laura looks at Sam with his bad boy earring
This episode scared the shit out of me
Sam and Marisha's dance at the end went perfectly with your end theme music
12:45 I'm feeling very Twinergy in this Chilli's tonight.
I really dont understand why people are complaining about c3 so much. The other campaign have all had times where the story dragged a bit but still had great moments. But we have had some amazing episodes lately and i feel sad for the people who stopped watching a while ago. They are missing out

Thank you as always! Great recap :)
Matt was so evil for making us thing dorian was coming back
I can't believe you didn't add the dorky "I have darkvision" line from Marisha!
Im so happy to see Czepeku sponsored! Ive used his maps so much!
love how pissed marisha got over botching the start of the dance routine twice ;D
The carrot thing was also used to hide the existence of radar
Laudnanakin better stop listening to Palpatilah.
Beware of your pal Friendpatine.
Thank god you exist!
I have never heard the "excess carrots" thing before. I thought it was propaganda used to hide the fact that Britain was using radar.
I think adding Chetney having a rudder when they enter the lake would be good
Carrots helping eyesight was a wartime claim, however it was actually told because the British had planes with radios and didn't want Germany to know how they were so good at winning conflicts, so they said it was carrots which also helped the surplus and children eat healthily.
It was the development of radar that they didn't want the Germans to know about.
Exactly. They even did an interview with pilot John Cunningham to perpetuate it, saying he was really good at shooting down planes at night because he ate loads of carrots.
The amount of times I repeated Laudna/Marisha's section 🤣 I love the voice she gave Laudna and I love her ridiculous ideas
My one fear with sending working again is that Ludinis can also use it and I'm almost certain he turned it back on. He could also be tapping our conversations.
Marisha Ray looking like a member of the Cruelty Squad
Love the random ass carrot fact from marisha😂
Omg yes i was waiting for this.
Boatie and ropey need a one shot
thanks for this
Honestly, Sam kinda looks good with the earring
okay now THAT is an intro my fav one so far
The carrot thing was a lie to hide the fact that they had radar.
I feel like this campaign is going to end with their old adventuring parties as npcs during the final battle Endgame style
Orym went to the moon and they all came back alive he belongs to Nana Mori now. Break that contract become a bush.
When im having a bad day i watch the part where Laudna says she a B boy and all is right with the world again lol
Let's goooooooooo!
Yo the moons gone from exandria im calling it
Marisha was half right on the carrot thing!

14:57 Laura looks like she is about to cry from joy😂😂😂
JESTER IS AN NPC!!!
Am I the only one who went to watching multiple episodes in a row, to weekly views, then to only watching the highlights then finally just stop watching together? It feels forced bad and awkward now idk what happen this campaign started great now I can't even finish the highlight vidoes
Thanks for the update.
