On one hand, Chet is great.
On the other, Travis rolling his death would be the funniest

Ashton's reaction when FCG finally realized they need some therapy too was so funny, I was dying. Just pure "I've literally been saying this all along" energy
The shear anti-climatic-ness of Sams rope trick makes it so much better

The ironic part is, that's the only magic trick they did that I don't know how it was done!

I love how ghibli the toad house is, even though it makes zero sense it's so whimsical.
Matt could have just made it a dimensional space like a bag of holding, but I like this version way more!

shocked no one started to sing 'Yo Ho Yo Ho a pirate's life for me' after the captain novoz reveal. i think it's safe to say playing a pirate is another one of travis' kid fantasies haha

I listen to Critical Role while at work so I miss the beautiful moments like Ashton's reaction to FCG finally hearing that they need to accept help from others. Thankyou for your compilation of visual highlights like that.

thats basically the concept of a log pose, from one piece. regardless if matt thought of the concept as a coincidence or not, thats so cool.
It's a bit different tho, doesn't a log pose sort of update itself to guide you from island to island? This sounded more like it's a compass that points to an island rather than north.
yes, the log pose rearranges its orientation depending on where you are, but once it locks to the climate of a nearby island, it changes the diretion to that island. the only diference is that the ones in CR only point to one specific place.
still, like i said in my comment, i really liked the reference to one piece, coincidence or not@@Hexen_Wulf
@@Hexen_Wulf To be fair there is a One Piece compass called an "Eternal Pose" which does point to one island permanently

Not in this highlight real, but pretty much all of ashtons stuff in the lattwr half of the episode is so neat. Introducing themselves as 'of the Hishari' and asking about grieving stuff you never knew you had... man, excluding some fckin insane twist where their backstory ties into Ruidus, i cannot wait for the return to Issylra.
and the moment in the fight! big character growth moment in the way they (spoilers) pulled orym away with their movement
