worry if this is a little messy because I kept jumping from one cast member to another, they all just had amazing reactions, also zooming is weird so quality is a little shitty, but I hope you can enjoy their giddiness as much as I do.

@@Mightymajin I mean, in world not really, but irl it is since Travis specifically stated a while back that he didn't want to ever do DnD romance. On the Talks episode for the episode with the jellyfish he talks about how he told Laura and she literally said 'I'm gonna have my next character romance you, and you're gonna fall for me or you'll have to turn down your wife'
Lets just take a moment to appreciate the amount of respect from matt and the other players, giving Space for the moment happen. 😊👍

Yeah totally, it’s really easy for people to react and interject to make jokes or otherwise release some of the tension in the room.

I feel like Tal's reactions are made even more great because we know he's opposite Travis in the room, and they're just so supportive. You know, if Travis had looked forward at any point.
Knowing that Fjord and Caddy were roommates quite often, I like to think that Fjord went to Caddy for advice about Jester too. Caddy may be asexual, but he may at least have been a good sound board to Fjord "practicing" opening up to Jester.

If they’re into you and you know they’re probably going to crazy-nod yes just like Jester, it’s absolutely the best way to start things after all of that build up.
@@Scufflegrit idk, I feel that asking it is rather awkward so I wouldn't say it's the best way (although that awkwardness can sometimes be cute too, like in fjord's case~). If you and the other person want it, you both know it just from the gaze. Then you don't need to ask verbally, you just slowly come closer with your face until your lips touch.

I didn't notice watching this live, but when Matt calls for break and everyone is talking/cheering about it Travis really does get BEET RED. That's way too cute.
I know Marisha’s reaction is probably the biggest but my favorite is Ashley’s just because if you go back and watch all of the other Jester/Fjord conversations she always has heart eye!
She looked like proud momma Pike the entire time.

I like to look at Ashley on these scenes (and escpecially this one) because she was not there for the romance on C01. I feel that she's got a lot of reactions that we saw from the rest of the cast on the first one of these on C01
I love how with the “I pull her in” Matt, Ashley and Marisha’s eyebrows just simultaneously raise and the smirk/smile settles in
I love how everyone reined in their excitement for what they assumed was coming and respected Travis' eyeline while he was doing something they all knew he considered to be very difficult to do.

i mean the sheer discipline of the cast not to make any loud noises or reactions during any dramatic scenes is just ::chef's kiss:: impecable!
I couldn't do it and I'm the DM in my group, but my party kills me everytime we play so I lose it and die from laughter often.
Fjord/Travis is such a good role model for straight boys/men. Love that dude.
He is. There's that character growth of a boy who thought he needed to hide his emotions and feelings behind his masculinity because it is what was "expected" of him, but slowly he becomes vulnerable and lowers his defences to just... be who he is and be comfortable and embrace his personality. And to show love in more ways than one. Props to Travis
That’s why I love his characters the most. Toxic masculinity is something I think a lot about. Even Grog touched on it, though not as thoroughly as Fjord
Yea it’s a shame many mix this with the sexist concept of “Toxic Masculinity” but meh, I’ll look at the positives.
More like a good role model for people in general. Respectful and supportive persona, hardworking mentality, healthy physique, anti-drama and solid leadership qualities. He seems like a man with a good head on his shoulders.

I’m a big fan of Liam’s misty-eyed joy. Very relatable.
Tal's expressions are so funny when you know he's gone through the same thing. Every time he raises an eyebrow or smirks, I imagine he's thinking "I know where this is going."
taliesin jaffe has had a character go to laura bailey's character's room and gotten way more than anticipated
Tal is the king of causing reactions so when he does them they are fun.

Being fictionally kissed by his husband who told her he'll never romance her in their campaign, and then winning best performance at the GOTY.
In this order of time and importance, of course.
The awards were rigged. It would have been a more meaningful nomination if it wasn't tainted by political agendas. It is a shame because I thought she did very well :(

@@sequorroxx A shame indeed. However, from what I saw watching videos of the premiation, neither she or Ashley were expecting something like that. And after all she'd been through (death threat ecc.), I am and I'll always be happy for her.

If it was possible to "buy the awards" then every major companies would do it and they would all end on equal footing anyway! The game won a bunch of awards because all the critics and a huge chunk of the players loved it, that's it!
@@ChevaliersEmeraude I guess you could say maybe a small fraction of the fandom enjoyed TLOU2, but overall, most players hated playing through it. It had a bad story and one of the main characters weren’t even in the trailer. The people who voted on those awards were maybe 10% of actual players. The other are game journalists who simp for Naughty Dog. I’m willing to bet that if you asked 1000 ppl on whether they liked TLO2 or any other game that was nominated, TLO2 would be picked least

That's why I love Fjord so much. He's an awesome role model, as he's lived his whole life thinking that he should fit in, being insecure about his own strength and size because of what society expects of him, and gradually, thanks to help from his friends, he's come out of his shell, and become more carefree and not afraid to make a fool of himself to make his friends laugh, and yet he handles important things with such tact. He held off on confessing because he was very aware that jester might not like him anymore, and didn't want to put her in a hard position, and even up till the point when it was easy to see she still liked him, he was still considerate of her and wanted her to be comfortable. Props to Travis for an awesome character

Even if all of them do their best to be "in character", Laura likes in game romance and made it clear it was something she enjoys and wanted to share with her real life husband. It would be weird of Liam to not recognize that and adjust his characters path organically and purposefully.

See, this is something I don’t see in a lot of campaigns, an actual couple being a couple in game. Most of the time I see a couple stay split because they think it’ll be weird to have intimate moments. But having that irl connection makes these moments seem so real, and makes the rest of the group enjoy the moments because it’s cute moments between they’re friends. I love seeing this

Honestly Fjord's growth is so inspiring. The journey from guilt to acceptance and then to a willingness to live his life to the fulfillment of love is so beautiful. And the mirror of the outside game of this whole group loving Travis and Laura is so amazing. We are all so blessed to have such great people to watch.
Laura Bailey... She just keeps winning at DnD. Travis never stood a chance but damn, he went down in beautiful flames. Much respect to this man for being the best role model for our young adults. A good example of a husband, father and friend. Such respect to the cast and crew for their professionalism and holding their selves in check.

Dude I feel like Caleb/Liam's expression was like a bittersweet look, because Caleb is in love with Jester. Like I really hope Caleb finds someone and moves on from jester. Like I think he is happy for her, and would be. But I also feel like he is a little heartbroken, so I hope that Caleb and Essek happen. I also know that Liam himself is excited for that, but I do think Caleb will kinda be sad for awhile maybe.
Thing is, Caleb doesn’t know about the kiss. So depending on how long they take to come out to the group.. Caleb may have a moment where he confesses his feelings to Jester and really confuses her
This is exactly what I been thinking. The whole time I was torn with excitemen/also watching Liam's face because I just knew how bittersweet that must have been for Liam. As a friend, so pumped because OMG TRAVIS but as a roleplayers, already digesting the drama and the conflict his character would go through.

Learning self love, and moving on from his past would be a beautiful thing. I still do hope that him an essek form a relationship though, but I think Caleb loving himself would be amazing.
