A Fjord/Jester/Kingsley/crew one-shot to find the third Ukatoa temple will probably happen if I had to guess. That story lines feels like the only one that's not fully complete.
@@mariedillingham199 I could see Caleb being down for it but too busy, same with Beau and Yasha. Caduceus and Veth probably just want to put their feet up at home for a while. Honestly I'd be down with them meeting up with some lower-level guest characters. Shakaste and Twiggy, for example, would probably be down, and one or two new characters could join. Kingsley could be sort of 'boosted' to Level 8-10 if we presume they had other adventures first. Honestly, I'd be more down with one-shots featuring fragments of the Nein with guest characters accompanying them than I would consistent full reunions. The Clay family investigating the nearby ruins for the source of corruption, probably accompanied by at least Fjord and maybe Caleb, if Caduceus figures they'd need someone with a mind for magic. Veth's summer camp idea would likely feature Kiri, Luc, and several younger characters, likely levels 1 or 2, and just mostly be fun skill challenges rather than life-or-death combat. Alternatively, it could be Veth, Caleb, and perhaps Jester running the camp when something goes wrong and they have to go searching for some missing kids while keeping the remaining ones safe. Essek and Caleb's forays into Aeor, likely accompanied by some sellswords or a group of mercenaries to act as escorts, to deal with whatever it is Devexian is getting up to. Beau and Yasha traveling the Wastes of Xhorhas, possibly rooting out some remainder of the Tharizdun cult, perhaps assisted by a task force comprised of Xhorhasian agents and perhaps a defected Volstrucker with one or two other Cobalt Reserve members as guests, concluding with Beau being asked to establish a Cobalt Reserve branch in Xhorhas as a symbol of cooperation. Kingsley, of course, could have a one-shot with some of his own crew fucking around in Darktow, possibly even scrapping to become the new Plank King.
Definitely. Travis didn’t connect the dots that ukatoa would continue to attack them while they were on the sea. It took Matt hinting a Laura bluntly saying it for him to realize that ukatoa is still a major problem. Would be great to see a one shot with some guest characters to finish this off!
Honestly? Maybe Kingsly will show up in the third campaign? We could see where he goes. His story just started and feels super incomplete right now lol
@@ashleycook300 He could, a lot will obviously depend on where and when the next campaign starts. I liked where he ended up, he has the freedom to lead and be where ever he wants. My opinion is that they'd want to start fresh for campaign 3. But who knows, he could show up out of nowhere like Alura does in Campaign 2 and not be around a lot like Alura, but have a moment. I think the Ukatoa arch is a BIG deal because his presence was felt at the very start of the campaign through Fjord's powers. So many episodes were about this entity. And for it to be unresolved is for me equivalent to Sylas Briarwood being left alive at the end of campaign 1 and we know he came back in a future one-shot.
I always loved the odd, yet somehow wonderful relationship between Artagan and Jester. At first, we were all thinking that Arty would betray Jester for his own personal gain, but overtime he needed her. The two got along. And even though Jester sometimes fails her Divine Interventions, Arty wil, in a way, give guidance.
I remember that Matt said some stories or adventures he leaves behind, are usually tied up by oneshots in the future. Don't know if I wrote that correctly lol. All I'm trying to say is, there will definitely be oneshots; To tie off loose ends. I'm just excited about what kind of settings & characters Campaign 3 will be, I've been trying to find info about it but haven't found anything yet. I'm assuming they'll be brainstorming about that for a couple months?
Might be a repeat but I'd think Fjord could get all the mystery of Ukatoa and bring the information and crystal to Caleb and Beau to find a way to hide it some how and let The Cobalt Soul archive it someplace safe.

Sure as shit someone who was waiting for the vod to go up before uploading scenes is going to see this and go "well then why do I have to wait?". All of the big CR highlights accounts have an unspoken rule about waiting until the vod is out before uploading stuff. It's not that hard to stick to it, instead of trying to beat them to the punch just to get more views.
