Thank you Dr. & Michelle! 🤗Finally, there is starting to be recognition & acceptance that kidneys can be healed & CKD improved! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏼🙏🏼🥗🍇🍎🥬🥦🥒🫐 The “old” literature & many, many physicians & RDs believe that it can only be halted temporarily, and cannot get better! Thank you for giving us all hope!! Of course this takes discipline I.e. plant based diet, moderate exercise, frequent labs for any needed adjustment & in many cases, medication. Happy & Healthy New Year!! 🎊

Thanks! One way that you could improve is to match your sound volumes more closely. Either Michele is waking up the neighboors, or I can't hear Dr Hashmi, there is nothing in between. eGFR 15, no dialysis, started K2 couple of weeks ago, blood pressure initially rose but now dropped, will drop my 3rd BP tablet from today. Initially bad palpitations, adding D3 and magnesium solved that.

I said the same, but not quite that extreme. Devices vary.

I am on metropolol ER AND BLOOD PRESSURE is not controlled. 170/70. 190/79. So terrified of B/P cause kidney damage. eGFR 44 last TEST in Aug had DROPPED 10pts an creatinine increased 1.08. what do I need to do? Dr.s been pranking with B/P for 9 months finally put me on Metropolol. Not working
      Thanks for answering.

@@lolittac.8049 When I first started K2 supplementing my BP was up to 190/90. Yesterday BP was 117/67, making me consider dropping one of the BP meds. Over the last year, I've been on a roller coaster where I exercise (I ride bicycle and ebike) for some days, then I find I just don't feel like it, but after a week or 2 of rest I want to ride again. And the cycle kept repeating. I thought initially that hemoglobin was decreasing leading to anemia while exercising, however I bought a HGB home tester and found the opposite. Finally, I realised that my blood pressure was decreasing so much with regular exercise that I got to feeling feint leading to me ceasing exercise. So it looks like I can decrease the meds as long as I keep exercising, after resting for a few days BP is up again. Keep moving is the solution it seems.

You didn't answer about tea, but at this point I don't care. I eat too much dairy, exercise, and I'm drinking tea.

How do you suggest regulating high cholesterol with CKD 3?
