The body language of Regina in each ending reveals so much:
-In the first ending, she simply checks if everyone is ok, even if the mission was not fulfilled. But Gail doesn't look at her, because the mission was the most important thing for him. She wants the next assignment to try and make things normal again;
-In ending 2, despite the joke, the tiredness she experiences after escaping the island makes it clear how she really feels. She feels emotionally exausted, but will put it aside for the next assignment. It's her way to cope now;
-In ending 3, she looks back at the sky, because everything went almost without a hitch. There's no reason to lamment or celebrate anything.

I take it you are talking about the first (Rick) ending. You literally can not. The battle is almost completely fixed and is about making a number of revolutions around the central island in the area.
