we all need a little tlc every now and then, so this sunday I decided that I needed to intentionally slow down, be mindful of my energy levels, and just recharge with things that bring me joy 😊 come with me for a slow morning, yummy toast, a little mediation session, and taking myself on a date!
ps. when was the last time you took yourself out on a solo lunch at a restaurant? because honestly, I can't remember the last time I went to a restaurant alone. try it, it's pretty lovely 😌

i took myself out on a date a couple days ago for happy hour oysters and although i felt kind of self conscious being alone, i just ate my oysters and read my book in peace. i loved it 💓

i remember religiously watching your videos during quarantine, wanting that sense of routine again to cook at home, get coffee, go study and just feel productive. now, back in school, i need to get out of that over-productivity mindset that just leads to burnout. these slower day vlogs just remind me how important it is to have an “off day” because giving yourself a break is, ironically, the most productive thing you can do for your mental health and well-being.

This is so useful. I’m realising that I’m struggling to do anything other than working and sleeping or looking at my phone. I have no motivation for anything that I love and that’s so unlike me so it’s a bit scary. This video has given me a little boost of motivation and hope to get back to doing what I love and need to do to make me happy x

But, hey, I’m 27 too, guys. I feel torn between myself, who I am and mom life all the time. So, I gotta take it easy and give myself rest days.
