Yes. KL is a very shitty place. Never buy a house in Bukit Jalil or elsewhere in KL. CAPITAL CITY doesn't mean, it's all nice. Everything is expensive there. The dust there is very dangerous. U open the balcony door and keep it for a while, you'll notice the dust in your house. The rest of the places r more horrible. Sometimes, the drainage system or the traffic or road repair. In fact, Kedah is much better. I've seen Sungai Petani how they maintain. There's never been a public nuisance.

Stupid property developers keep on building new high rise projects at crazy pace despite low demand and over supply, digging holes and expand underground piles and trenches to setup water supplies to those new high rises but poorly maintained as long as get the job done. We can see those rapid developed areas road always being dig up at night time but back to normal the next morning and same things happen few days later cuz inferior workmanship that caused leaking underground and damage the soils lead to collateral destruction underneath. Yet, greedy government just approved on new high rise developments anywhere regardless the area density, not even concerning if the area is still safe to do so, leads to citizens mental and physically harm, property assets highly depreciation and etc. The real devils are government and bloody property developers like mxhsing, uxa, plxtinum and bla bla bla. Wish likelihood sinkholes happen few more times but not causing life threatening to really raise awareness of citizens regarding the issues of over development, lets against

Lime stone is still much more stable than volcanic formations/lava rocks like those found in Japan & Indonesia that poses greater challenges but were still overcomed with proper engineering techniques of construction with follow ups of monitoring systems to mitigate/minimize the detrimental conditions.

In Singapore, there is no race based hiring. Singapore hires the best candidates to fill jobs in both government and private sectors irrespective of their race or religion. I am sure that plays a part in ensuring that the best job applicants get the job. Just look at how the masjid india rescue has unfolded since day 1. They look like they dont know what they are doing and are trying to find the innocent victim using tikam tikam methods. They even announced performing the water bottle test. Oh gosh.

The Straits Time should stop sensationalising this issue? The area of Kuala Lumpur is massive. This happened in less than a 1km Sq area. Which is normal when there are sinkholes. It happened in Paris, New York and London too. This is normal soil erosion that can happen anywhere including in Singapore as seen sometime back. So enough unnecessary issues.
