if you got a 1 x 6 board and used a holesaw ( the size of the wine bottle diameter) down the middle of the board where you marked the curves to be - you could then just drill out the holes , cut the board into half so you end up with 2 1x3 pieces and then you have 2 frontt boards to lie your wine down on - would save having to jigsaw out the curves that way???
This is the most practical gift to give to anyone along with wine bottles. Thanks for sharing. Just saw this video and guess what built it already. Took just about an hour..
Ana that is so beautiful congratulations you have great hands you got me motivated to build one of those in the weekend thanks great video your husband should be very proud to have such a talented wife like you are
Ana - A very nice gift project! I know that people whom enjoy wine would love this. You are right it would make a great hostess gift as well. Thank you so much for sharing a gift idea! I enjoy watching your videos very much.
This is pretty, and a great gift idea, but you typically want to store wine with the cork angles down so the wine keeps the cork moist. Otherwise the cork dries out, shrinks, and the wine goes bad
I am hooked on the simple house build, too! My guess is that they got it dried in for winter and will continue with the build next summer when the weather allows. Looking forward to seeing that series come to its conclusion!
What a lovely idea. That one bottle with the initials CS on it is my initials. So that means thats my gift for Christmas from you. Thank you so much for making me that lovely wine bottle holder & those wines....... lol.... I'm sorry, but I really don't like wine. It was a lovely thought. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for sharing that awesome video & plans with us. You are a very giving lady & family. A true Alaskan jack of all trades. If we only had a couple more billion lovely people in the world. It would be a nicer world out there in the streets we call earth. But it is what it is for a reason only God knows. Thank you again & Merry Christmas/Happy Hollidays, (whichever one calls it. I'm trying to walk the fence here & not offend anyone) best regards, Chris from Missouri
Anna, that is beaitiful. Just one adjustment you should make with the storage function. The way you have it situated may allow corks to become dry and cause the wine to spoil. Idealy tjey shoukd be stored level or with the neck just a touch lower then level. Love your channel
So do you put the poly or butcher's block finish instead of the varthane stain on top or after you apply the varathane stain? Sorry I am new to woodworking
If you want to use the top for cutting into like a cutting board, only use butcher block sealer on the bare wood, as small pieces of wood may end up in the food when cutting If you want to use the top for serving (not cutting with a sharp knife, I would think a cheese knife is ok) then use any stain you like, but add a couple coats of poly to the top surface to seal the stain in the wood.
Another great build, Ana! Love it!! Would be great to have your input on a small laundry room build...something around 6x6 or 8x8 with pedestals w/storage and slide outs/drawers.
Great project and gift (especially if it comes with the wine 🍷 . Thanks. You could add a ‘holster’ for a wine opener in the area you said you could put gift cheese.
I love this, is a great gift idea, but just a little observation, i think it would be a good idea to put maybe a 1/4 plywood piece at the bottom of the box, specially if if going to move the box somewhere else the way is set with the grapes and cheese on top.
If you're going to be storing wine for a long time you want it tipped toward the cork. If you buy and drink your wine fairly regularly you can store them however you want. :)
Great project for the bottles but it would be better if in the bottom where the bottles lay to put a board just incase they lift it and the bottles won't fall. Keep up the great work
There should be a hole saw in the size for the semi - circle cut outs. You know some child will try to move it when there is no bottom, shouldn't there be some kind of bottom? If you were going to stack and screw them together only the bottom rack would need to be covered.
“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” This is the very reason I get my coffee in the morning and sit down to watch Ana.

It’s crazy because so many ideas come out of that little wine rack.
I'm just getting off into wood cutting and you have the best wine rack I have seen for a beginner like me.thank you so much for sharing
Thanks for the visit, so happy to hear that!
This is the most practical gift to give to anyone along with wine bottles. Thanks for sharing. Just saw this video and guess what built it already. Took just about an hour..
Perfect!
If you pick it up doesn’t the wine fall out the bottom when it’s laying down?
Ana that is so beautiful congratulations you have great hands you got me motivated to build one of those in the weekend thanks great video your husband should be very proud to have such a talented wife like you are

Super easy and awesome gift idea
Another cool idea would be have the bottom section for 3 wine bottles, and the top have a wine glass rack for 4-6 glasses.
I’m just so impressed with your talent. I’ve always been intrigued with any kind of wood working. These are just the perfect gifts!😊❤️

When will you be dropping week 7 of the simple house build? Been waiting patiently for that to continue
I am hooked on the simple house build, too! My guess is that they got it dried in for winter and will continue with the build next summer when the weather allows. Looking forward to seeing that series come to its conclusion!
That's a great gift idea, thanks for sharing!
Fantastic, can't wait to try it. Thanks Ana.
What an awesome hostess gift! Great video.
Love it !!!❤😍😍😍🫡
Thanks!
Very nice. Thanks
Not a wine drinker here, but this project is still super-cute and could be used to hold bottles of sparkling cider, too! ;)
what! this video is amazing
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful thanks for sharing

VERY nice, simple build, looks great in your kitchen, would love one in mine!
Anna, that is beaitiful. Just one adjustment you should make with the storage function. The way you have it situated may allow corks to become dry and cause the wine to spoil. Idealy tjey shoukd be stored level or with the neck just a touch lower then level. Love your channel
And you solved another issue with our "where does the wine go?" THANK YOU!!
you are so talented!! love your videos
You could add ceramic tiles to the top too? Good for chopping on. X
love the idea ! Thank you :-)
You are so welcome!
I like the wine glass shelf in the back ground. Did you make that also?
Yes! Plans are here www.ana-white.com/woodworking-projects/rustic-shelves
Came here looking for this exact question and answer! My thanks to you both!
Im definitely making this one
Merry Christmas🌲🌲🎅🎅🎅🎁🎁🎁
Very cool simple project, thank you
Beautiful
Thank you!

Love this ☺️ could probably put a latch on each side to keep them stacked and stable
What a great idea
This is great, I love it! I may need to make a few as gifts.
Love it, Anna - don't oversell it. Great project.
We need a tutorial for those wine racks behind you!
Love it - Great channel (so good)
Simple yet so handy. Love your work & love this. Thank you for sharing.
Another great build, Ana! Love it!! Would be great to have your input on a small laundry room build...something around 6x6 or 8x8 with pedestals w/storage and slide outs/drawers.
Great Idea!
Anci, sve pohvale, ali nacini korpicu za vina u kosom polozaju koja imaju depot te se moraju dekantirati kod stola gosta,,,pozz.👏👍🍷
What a clever idea!! Thanks
Great project and gift (especially if it comes with the wine 🍷 . Thanks.
You could add a ‘holster’ for a wine opener in the area you said you could put gift cheese.
Oh this is a cool idea!!
What a great project!! Do you think a hole saw would work for the holes?
Yes! The only issue is the center of the hole saw is off the wood, so it's hard to start the hole saw.
I love this, is a great gift idea, but just a little observation, i think it would be a good idea to put maybe a 1/4 plywood piece at the bottom of the box, specially if if going to move the box somewhere else the way is set with the grapes and cheese on top.
How is Jacob, and what is up To?
MERRY CHRISTMAS Anne,Jacob and your family.
It’s nice but I always thought the wine should be tipped towards the cork????
If you're going to be storing wine for a long time you want it tipped toward the cork. If you buy and drink your wine fairly regularly you can store them however you want. :)
A lot of wine is sold with twist off caps now.
Great project for the bottles but it would be better if in the bottom where the bottles lay to put a board just incase they lift it and the bottles won't fall. Keep up the great work
Love all your videos Ana!!! By the way is your festool miter saw a 10” ? You sure put that saw to work.😉
Love it!👍✌️😊🙏🏼🍷
love it
I personally would do the same round pattern in the back. The wine needs to keep the cork soaked
A lot of wine is sold with twist off caps now.
@@jaysnipe090909 Oh ok, my mistake. In Romania there are only cork
Madalina Paraschiv Vilcu no worries.
I was scrolling back to see if someone would mention this detail. And yes screw tops make that detail unimportant.
Where do I find the plans please
www.ana-white.com/woodworking-projects/wood-wine-holder-stacks-stores-and-serves
Thank you very much hope you have a great day
Parabéns, ficou muito show!
FYI ...You can use a 1x6 and cut out a full circle with a Hole saw then rip the board down the middle and have two 1x3s each with half circles
I tried it with the jigsaw and it looked like a 4 year old cut it....3 5/8" hole saw worked perfectly on a 1x6.
wow. so many ads intermingled with the plans when you click above

Yes, I do need a jig saw as an excuse to get another tool lol
sehr schön ich mag dich gerne sehen und deine Projekte liebe grüsse aus Germany 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😍😍😍😍😍

Cute idea. Are there plans for the shelves behind Ana in the beginning of the video?
Yes! Plans are here: www.ana-white.com/woodworking-projects/rustic-shelves
Don’t hurt your hand but a mallet
I did it with Woodglut.
Don't drop your wine cause that will make you whine. LOL
No safety glasses?
alright so, the moment you're using ANY power tools it's already past '' quick & easy ''
