I keep thinking of that song “Your raise me up, so I can stand on mountains”, that’s sung in a lot of churches today. It was written by a person who when asked who the “you” was, he said it is whoever you want it to be. It is not a Christian song, never mentions the name God, and is equally sung in gay pride parades as well as in church. Something about that doesn’t sit well in my spirit.

We call them 7/11 Songs; The same 7 words, sung eleven times in a row. I can see how that could be tied to the same style as that of a mantra, or repetition to the point that it drones out true worship. There is a lot of "Me, me, me" and "I, I, I" in worship songs today. I miss lyrics that tied to the esoteric, adding to the mystery and awe of The Lord, and which also had good eschatology. Now we have music that sounds like a skipping record. What happened to the depth of the Hymns? I will admit, my addiction is in Orthodox Monastic singing. It gives for good contemplation. It is sad to not find good Spirit seeking sound in a lot of churches today, who wish to be nothing more than "hip".

If you are a new creature in Christ, why are you still with one feet in old and one feet in new. If you still can't let go of secular music then you aren't new(you still can be). If the Lord asked you to lay it down why can't you lay it down,? Tattoo etc pagan days like Easter, Christmas. These are not biblical holidays 😮 Halloween ,Trunk or treat or harvest fest is pagan. When you are standing before our Creator, what will you possibly say"Lord I loved this world more than you" The Lord laid HIS life for both all. I laid secular music etc down for HIM because those things won't save me or keep me. I want eternal not temporary. Being turned away by the Lord cuts deep😞

@Maria-kr8mh being a new creature in Christ doesn't mean a person is perfect from the get go. You don't come into salvation clean and pristine. It's a process one must go through to be free. No one really knows the depth of depravity they fell into while being apart of the world. Only God knows.
Deliverance can be instant with some things. Other things may take a while to get rid of. It depends on the person. Some people sinned harder than others in certain aspects of life. Don't be so quick to write someone off just because you were able to easily lay something down vs someone else in that same category. That just may be the deep stronghold governed by the strongman in that person's life they have to continually war against til those chains are broken.
I waited 6 years til God delivered me from one of my problems. We have to continually pray for the strength of people to be built up in the inner man. They'll eventually be made free if they stay in the process.

Several of the old time Christians and preachers believed this way about music including “horrible” Bill Gothard who has been routinely criticized and rejected by modern mainstream evangelicals. I think in trying to edit out the noise you sort of unintentionally cut out high frequencies.
Epic Games is the company that made Fortnite. They added a game mode to where you play music of this world. I did not like what I was hearing and the moment they announced Billy Ellish or whatever you call her, I got hesitant and decided not to support that game company anymore. I keep getting back to it once in a while but I think moments like these after watching this video on music, it's giving me the more reason to not support these game companies anymore even though I know that money that I spent on capitalism is actually going to support other things like the Mandalorian seasons and movies. I wish there was a better way for capitalism without demonizing their customers. 😔🐵🎮
I accidentally ordered a "Titan " Fitness Kettlebell. Engraved on the Kettlebell is an image of a Titan God. Titans are the Demons bound in Hell. Lost $100 on that one.... Unless I just sand/grind the image off?

@@andre1987eph I remember in one of Derek Prince videos he explained how he had a women explain to him how she had a locket given from a lady that turned out to be a witch or something that used demonic powers to save her by giving her a necklace with a locket. But within the locket she discovered it had a folded paper that said to the devil to spare her life but her spirit would be sent to hell for eternity in return. Even though your kettle bell has the brand of a titan God, I think you should break it entirely just in case to see if it has something inside to make sure nobody has put a curse on you like a note or something like crystals. Derek Prince also said that crystals are a way for witchcrafts to put a spell on someone.

And the dark churches .. and the smoke .. it’s hard to find a church that doesn’t deafen you when the music starts (I am now carrying small ear plugs in my purse) .. and then, if it’s being broadcast, the playing to the cameras. Where does one go when they all seem to be the same. I just can’t understand the need for a dark church .. can anyone give me a good reason why they are going this? It baffles me.

Frequency music is used in the background of almost every single song. It’s what you listen to With It, or sing With it that makes a huge difference. We are listening to a sermon over it, so it’s fine. We aren’t practicing mindless meditation nor doing demonic yoga poses

It is his voice but perhaps it was recorded later in life when he was not well. I can only hypothesize but it sounds as though he had slurred speech like that caused by a stroke or other neurological disorder.

The Trumpets mentioned in the Book of Revelation are not literal Trumpets, but the Voice from the Spirit of GOD. John said in Revelation 4:1 that he heared the first voice speaking with him like a Trumpet. And when he heared it, immediately he was in the Spirit and he saw the Throne of GOD. The Trumpets in these last last days are blown by the four witnesses (two olive trees and two lampstands) of GOD. They are the seven or complete angels who were given by GOD the Trumpets, His Words or His Voice, to be blown in these last last days. And only a third of the earth will hear His Voice or will hear the sound of the Trumpets. These Trumpets are speaking to the lost sons of GOD, a third part, and when they heared and follow the sound of the Trumpets, they will see the FATHER, not physically but thru His Words.
A third part is mentioned in the first four Trumpets in Revelation 8 and this is the remnant of GOD who will be affected with the Trumpets that are blown by the four witnesses of GOD. This third part is not a literal one-third of the world population, but it represents the remnant of GOD. Just like the physical Israel, how small are their population compared to the population of the whole world. This is also the same with the remnant of GOD which is very very small in number compared to Babylon, the bodies who are ruled by the voice of the flesh (beast).
To the remnant of GOD, hear His Voice. Hear the sounds of the Trumpets that I (and the three other witnesses whom I know only in Spirit) am blowing in these last last days. Only the Voice of the FATHER can release you from the captivity of the voice of your flesh. Therefore, if today you hear His Voice harden not your heart.
