??????? Sorry, you mean Jesus Christ died for us and was raised back to life by his father, two separate beings, not one and the same?
This is death, burial and resurrection. He died human Jesus or earthly Jesus, and He rose a Spiritual Jesus, and appeared to many, when you receive Christ Jesus as your personal saviour, a supernatural transaction takes place,which is only experiencial.

Your soul is saved, however, your flesh isn’t. That occurs at the Rapture. Romans 8:23 “And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.” This is why Paul says, Romans 7:24-25 “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.” Hebrews 10:10-12 “By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.” Matthew 5:17 “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”
If you’re trusting yourself to “help” God with your salvation you are going to fail. This is why our High Priest Jesus came to die for us.

I agree, I know when we get saved that our soul is saved, but our flesh is still the old sinful flesh and DNA it was before we were saved. But when the Rapture occurs our bodies will be redeemed! During the days of Jesus and until now in that area, sheep pens are outdoor areas surrounded by a low rock wall with only one opening to walk through. There is no gate or door, only the opening. The shepherd sits on the ground in the doorway and no one and no sheep or goat gets in or out without his knowledge and his authority and leadership. ❤

I was taught the shepherd lay across the gap in the sheep fold being the shepherd becoming the door.
I love the work of Derek Prince. He has been my favourite, sensible preacher now for over 20 years.

Dying to one's self issues, ambitions, desires and taking up your cross to follow Him. That is denying one's self interests and serving Him, for we are not our own if we accept him on His terms, believing on Him, Repenting. We are then "bought with a price.:" His Suffering death and Resurrection to give us eternal life.
Thank you Derek for this fact of truth ! I get the paradox in the writings of this parable.

Jesus is the door. How do people believe in Jesus? Belief in Jesus is a gift. People can't believe in the perfect atoning sacrifice unless God blesses them with faith in Jesus.
Salvation is all of God. People need to be baptized by the Holy Spirit. If that hasn't happened, then people are still unsaved.

Still those Illegal sons expected to come in through another way......
But Paul explained that ONLY through Isaac is the SEED that brings forth the perfect LAMB of the resurrection❤

Excellently put. And something to add on, because Jesus Christ is the True Light in Genesis, through which all created things were made and not one thing was made without Him, and the Spirit of the Lord called Him good, it can be concluded that part of the reason why He could be the sacrifice for all sin is because in Him is all creation. That is very powerful, because it demonstrates the Father was willing to sacrifice essentially all of creation in order to save His children from the consequences of sin. Truly a loving Father. Truly a loving Son. Truly a loving Spirit.
Derek is the best preacher I’ve ever heard. I really appreciate the fact that his ministry was recorded, in order to bless future generations. God bless you team! 🙏🏼

Word, metaphor, meaning, and significance.
Anyone who tries to get in from any other way than the gate is a thief and a robber. There is no other way to the kingdom than by the way of Jesus Christ. Thank you for your sacrifice, Lord Jesus, Amen.
How very clear. Jesus laid down his life on the cross and opened the door. Jesus who raised from death is Christ who is alive and shepherding us. Shepherd is alive.
But I have heard many pastors from protestant/reformed churches say, "disregard crucifixion, dont look at crucifix, dont celebrate good friday because Jesus is alive. Only celebrate resurrection day".
Jesus of Nazareth - God in human form died on the cross at calvary and God in divine form rose from dead as Christ. We need to remember both, we need both gate and shepherd to walk the road of salvation ..
I also noticed He, "calls them by name." Specific details both ways. Backing scripture being, "My sheep know My voice and will not answer another..." This is how we are created, this is who we are.
A sheep pen had an opening that the Shepard would lay in and sleep this acting as the door. You had to go "through' the Shepard door to get into the pen.

When you open the Bible, its like opening a door. The Bible is like a gate, that you open. The open Bible looks like wings, and the pages feathers. Inside the Bible is the Word, the Word is Jesus, the only Words of Truth are in the Bible.
