I've had my 2004 for 10 yeanow, from 2014 to present..and I've driven it short trips of 5 hours to 17 hours straight through! They are very comfortable!

Wow that's a long way! I've only driven mine as long as a 4 hour trip (to Galveston).

Pretty easy engine to work on. They generally need to be resealed which is best done with the engine out. Valve stem seals, upper and lower coolant hoses and so forth. You get those things right and these cars last a long time. They're probably good remanufacturers out there that can sell you a ready to install engine on an exchange basis. But don't overlook the Jaguar XK cars. Incredible value for money and none of the BMW issues.

How much this adjustment can cost roughly … thank you

The radio screen was protected against the sun … what about the 2012 version where is not anymore protected , is it better ? or worse stand point of view ?/

I agree, my goal soon is to own an XK as well. One came up at a dealer auction but I was too slow on the draw and didn't get it :( BTW I'm still driving this as a daily driver.

Are you asking about the engine work @sprezzatura8755 talked about? I actually had a quote for $5k 3 years ago but bet it went up.

I haven't driven the 2012 and newer versions but I do like the screens they put in that allow you to view it even in bright sunlight. That maybe the way the 2012 and newer is.

Btw, that blinking green light indicates your headlights won't follow your steering wheel input.

Right, thanks. Yes I have an adaptive headlight motor out I guess. It shows up in my scan.

That convertible looks really sleek for an old model...not shot of you with the top down

Great video, have you ever driven and/or reviewed an electric car?

Not yet but that's my goal soon. I had a chance to buy a Nissan Leaf at auction but I didn't really want that to be my first electric. I'd like something a little more exciting :)

Cup holder was like a $75 option or something. I wish mine didn't have it. Stupid looking thing. The coating that wears off the interior bits is disgraceful. It would be on a Toyota. The good things about BMs are great. The bad things are absolutely shameful.
