If I’m playing the drums at guitar center and another drummer comes in I get embarrassed and stop
Mood
This me lol
Yep
SAME LOL
Haha yeah I was going to comment I'm the opposite.
This is accurate but i mean you need to test the drums out and you can't do that playing basic stuff
a lot of them arent testing out the drums
@@johnsk8967 facts
Whoosh
I can’t even go to GC to test a kit, someone’s always in a lesson in the practice room 😂
Yes you can.
*another drummer walks in the drum department*
“I must assert my dominance”
*Puts drum stick down my pants and through the zipper* “YEAH! That’s right! Keep walking!” 😂
@@caseyshroyerdrumming whaaa- 😭
....I go into immediate TooL Sober intro by default..just how it be
@@caseyshroyerdrumming waiting for someone to say relatable😂
@@belowzero4777 Relatable 😂
The only thing inaccurate about this is that you’re actually good at drums.
Lol
Hahaha true
🤣🤣
This right here
He’s also still playing way too quietly for a drummer at guitar center
I’m actually the exact opposite. I play like that when I’m at home and then I go out in public and I can’t even hold two sticks at one time.
Fr, I can be playing 260 bpm blast beats at home but the second I'm out in public......
*me playing hot cross buns on a acoustic bass for several hours without break*
Now play hot cross buns on the drums
@@Undistortedlove with toms, you can live out that fantasy
@@key1228you can even play Mary had a little lamb
yes
As a drummer, we communicate through drum noises so this is basically how we greet each other
Those fills were 🔥🔥

CHOPSSSSSSSS 🥲
Sloppy gospel chops, but aight
@@uncomfortableshirt oh you’re so cool
I worked at the Encinitas CA location for a few years and "groove flexing" is real. I worked in Keyboards and software with an Asian fellow who had real chops on the keys and would groove with you if the customer had some licks. Best random performance I ever heard was Patty Labels drummer who dropped in unannounced while she was on tour in San Diego. Damn near every employee drifted over to listen to whoever that was in the drum section lol.
Segdrick Marsh?
Encinitas had a GC?? 🤔
@@earthgruves there’s one in San Marcos... idk
I use to drive out there and jam with random guitarists. Spent way too much money in that store. 😆
Or Eric Seats
Me being too shy to even play unless everyone clears out from the drum department ✌️😅
This is insanely accurate. I remember once there was 9 drummers playing at once and we have eachother their own turn while holding down the main beat.
Eventually the other sections of the the store walked over and all started taking video. It was amazing.
My best experience while in Charlotte,NC.
I wish it was on YT
This is so similar to guitarist, I’ve been on both ends and I’m crying lauging
i stg every time i go in and try something out somebody else will make it a point to play some type of over the top solo right after me on the same equipment just to like “show me up”. doesn’t matter if it’s drums, guitar, etc.
I gotta admit that's strange, but probably the last time I tested anything in a music store was like 10 years ago.
Seems untrue😂
Even talented people are unsure of themselves. It’s not your ability bit your confidence that convicts them. You are doing something right.
I got kicked out of the drum room from this music store called international house of music for playing "loud" & when I went downstairs to exit all I could hear is loud noise everywhere of people talking & playing the other instruments. 😑
If a sales associate tells me I'm playing to loud on an acoustic drum kit I'm getting the manager
Showing off your chops when another drummer walks in. You sound good 🥁👍🏾👍🏾
I’ve never seen anything in my entire life that was more accurate lol happy new year!
One time me and my cousins had a whole jam session on every guitar, bass and drum set for at least 2 or 3 hours and the only thing i bought was drum sticks
No it’s this, *kick*
“Srry sir you’re playing too loud”
“FU-“
“Are you dragging or are you rushing”
are you russian or are you dragon
Imagine saying you're playing too loud. They're drums, it's not a library
I will never understand this. They set these acoustic drums up, it's impossible to play quietly at all lol.
Bro this happens every time I walk in lol
That first beat is The Rocks Entrance Song, you can’t change my mind.
LOL I'm looking to learn how to play the drums really soon and now all I'm getting are videos of drummers in my algorithm. I've never been happier.
That is Ba ba ba Bad to the Bone. Top hat, Tom Toml Bass snare all in perfect Unity.
Another drummer walks in "just hits anything"
I Remebr this one time I played the drums and this lady started to record me and these random people crowded me than I had to battle someone😂
Can not help it,playing the drums its so much fun.
Definitely accurate 🤣😭🤣🤣🤣
Confirmed. Used to clock in and see this everyday 😂
Lol you on point brotha!🔥🔥
That groove and those fills were immaculate
It is sooooooo true! I have been both drummers in the drum department before!
deadass I feel this, my wife always doesn't understand why I go from 0-100 whenever someone else walks in hahah
They always wanna put you out when you play better than them ☺️
I walked in and was playing around I’m only a beginner, and some 10 yo looks at me, jumps on the lot across from me, and just starts ripping it, crazy fills and everything. Lil shit.
“Just marking my territory”
Im always doing this but quietly because im afraid of being told im playing loud.
Why would you be trying to impress a drummer? I’d be worried about impressing a guitarist looking for a drummer. Not like the other drummer is suddenly gonna call his group and say Fudge em or something
Because other drummers are the ones who'll appreciate what you're playing usually guitarists or other instrumentalists just go "oh yeah cool"
You show em!! Also there's never a kit that good just set up in the showroom. And to be fair, you chopped out at a lower volume than the 2&4 beat. Very nice❤
😂😂 is a daily routine every day for the employees...
I've literally had drum battles at GC and it was awesome!!😂
Lol, I used to work at Guitar Center a few years ago. That's true how a lot of the guys act when another drummer comes in.
Lmaooo turns in to a huge shed battle😮💨🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭
In accurate. Everyone knows that the drums at guitar centers are tuned like wet garbage and they’re hard to play for more than 20 seconds.
exactly
Gospel chops blow my mind every time.
So basically when another drummer walks in you start stretching beyond your capabilities and your groove starts degrading?
That's what I was waiting for 😂😂 the salesman always ruins it, but loves a loud guitarist
“Tryna shed bro” head ahh 😂
Yep sounds about right my dude 🤘🏻
His kit is so beautiful
BROOOO I LOVE THAT HIHAT ITS SO CLEANNNNN
I love the crisp on the Snare Drum I also have a Snare Drum that kinda sounds like that 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
Bro, if I was the sales associate at GC, I would be jivin' in the corner. 😂
That was super solid man!
That kit sounds great!
After the adrenaline rush seeing all the different kits and hearing a shredder in the guitar department i look for the nearest electronic kit and act like I don't know what the hell im doing... Thsn i go straight to the cymbal room and look for the markdowns 🤣🤣🤣🤣😊
It’s funny cuz the same applies for guitar, I turn mine down when someone is lookin around in the section near me 😂
Lmao so relatable you just have to establish dominance
this happened to me yesterday but the drummer was a literal chill cool master at reggae
That’s me when I’m playing a bass in my local Music Store and someone walks in and watches.
You know once you start feeling good about yourself thinking you're doing all right somebody comes along and says nope you need to work on it more 😂
Narrator sounds like he’s about to holler for a cab at any moment 🚕
When they say your playing loud and your really not just doing stuff that they cant do😂😂😂😂😂
I usually jam with the other drummers. I love your playing.
This is so true in music shops but not only with drums it applies to all instruments 😅. Its like its one big competition.
Any time anyone walks in while im playing, my arms go jelly and my hands turn to stone 😭
Bruh you knocked it out the park that’s exactly what happens! 😂😂
When my buddy from two practice rooms over is there and I know he'll hear me, because I can hear him:
*Blast beat greeting intensifies*
I went to buy my first set and the guy who came in after me did this same thing, stared me down the whole time 😂
😂😂😂 That kit sounds great 🔥🔥🔥
Is this guy reading my mind??? This is so true!!! 😂
Love drumsets mounted on racks.. for my opinion they immediately kick ur ass when u see them
you have the inflection of an angry cop in a kids show. i love it
I switch to traditional grip and play it off like I'm doing a sound check
Another drummer walks in:
*_*starts playing Clockworks_*
Dude, u know your way around those toms!!!!
Bro, You need to teach us that drum chop, that's so dope
I don't like you callin me out like that fam 🤣 died at "when another drummer walks into the department."
Couldn’t be more true 😂 The worker always tells me to lower it when I’m playing loud on the drum set 😭 like hello it’s drums it’s supposed to be loud.
I hate when I’m playing and people say “ur playing too loud” THERE DRUMS. THERE SUPPOSED TO BE LOUD.
Usually it is just a kid doing 16th notes on the bass drum thinking it sounds incredible😂
its mandatory 😂
I know I would try and do this and immediately drop my sticks 💀😭
Never heard another sales associate tell a drummer they’re playing to loud LOL
I walk into guitar center and see 3 little kids just playing around on the drums
I've never been able to play at music atores because the kits are always set up right-handed and they won't let me reverse it 😂
😂😂🤣🤣😂😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭 HAHAHAHHA I LOVE YOU DUDEE I AM LASO LIKE THAT
Don't forget the guy playing beyond his skills going "gahh" every time he chokes on a big fill lol.
This is too funny and tru, it’s more of a high note contest with us brass players, when we are testing out new horns at local shops. Nice work bro I’m subbin.
I be goin crazy at GC when a drummer walks by
If I see another drummer playing, even if they aren't playing very well I still give them a subtle nod to let them know theyre killing it
This is very accurate 😂🤣😂 too funny
No much chance me ever playing that Great. Nice Playing!!
This is so true for me 😭
This is the most accurate thing I’ve ever seen
that hi hat looks sick
Never once had an associate say you're playing to loud..... Where I'm at they're usually always chill.
Gotta make sure to assert dominance! Drummers are VERY territorial
Yeah, I’m the guy that walks in & sees this and turn around and walk right back out🥴
I once tried playing the whiplash solo at Sam Ash and the second I hit the crash it dented, props
