Who listen this in 2024? : ME, I'm sixty and that has been the soundtrack of my life 💯!. I'm very gratefull to the life for has gaved me the oppurtunity to living the disco by the '77 till the end. I has living also the 90's, but in all onesty the true disco music has been this one. Anyway, if I should talk at the young guys that love this music, I would like to tell them "don' t regret those years becouse everything have a price to pay ♥️" .
I lost my mother in November 2023. I found an old camera footage of me in the mid 80s doing homework, with her playing that music in the background. I know now where my love for disco comes from…. Thanks God for all she gave me

I couldn't agree more. I was just thinking that 1981 was probably my favorite. I was lucky enough to be able to spin this tune and many more from that era working as the DJ in the local roller skating rink. Talk about living the dream...back when I was much cooler than I am now. 😎😁

Reparem o percussionista da BB &Q Band com seu chocalho rsss me lembra um conhecido que trabalha num comércio perto de casa... simples, eficiente e vestido para trabalhar... fantástico! So happy to hear this again after 40+ years ...I had this (like forever) on Cassette recorded from the radio for many years...I was then single, and both of my Parents were still alive, and I was living at home too! I had my old, "Panasonic Platinum" Boom Box blasting it in my room! I'm overjoyed that I found this song again! The true happiness with the music, getting together....going Roller Skating, or BBQ'n in the Park without the fear of some damn fools with GUNS riding around looking for trouble! We had crime, yes...but NOTHING like what is going on now in this world right now! Coronavirus, Lockdowns, etc. Lord, take me back to the Summer Of 1981, so I can admire my Bulletin Board in my room, "Summer In Song, 81!" These truly were the Magical days of my life, and NEVER TO BE REPEATED. I love this song, and it looks like they are all getting along and making this song a beloved hit; and they succeeded, at least with me they did! :)

Moi aussi, je me souviens du show télé les vendredis ou samedis soirs au nom de «Nite Life» avec Peter King; ce gars là allait visiter les discothèques de Montréal et les alentours et durant son émission il montrait ces visites.. ah que je rêvais un jour, de pouvoir moi aussi aller dans les discothèques. En 1982, lorsque l'émission débutait, il y avait cette toune de BB Q Band - On the beat qui jouait et puis je courais pour me rendre à la télé du salon pour voir le show tellement j'étais excité, Méchant bon beat cette musique et oui, la «bass line» est fabuleuse. L'année suivante en 1983, Peter King avait sortie sa propre toune NITE LIFE sur 45 tours, manager par Geraldine Hunt la tante de Freddy James.

Lembro me que essa música era uma das que tocou nessa festa. Alem dessa, aquela música da Diana Ross chamada Upside Down, tocou também, e muitas da Disco Music também. Essa festa marcou a minha infância e essa música também.

Na época que essa música foi divulgada nas rádios, em 1981, eu estava com 5 anos, prestes a completar 6 anos de idade. Lembro que a minha irmã fez uma festa aqui em casa e convidou todos as colegas de serviço dela, nesse dia eu já tinha completado 6 anos. Foi uma festa inesquecível. Lembro me que essa música era uma das que tocou nessa festa. Alem dessa, aquela música da Diana Ross chamada Upside Down, tocou também, e muitas da Disco Music também. Essa festa marcou a minha infância e essa música também.
Eu também meu amigo nessa época tinha 6 anos, e ainda gosto de ouvir essas músicas.
