Just found these. Weird seeing dr.mike with hair. Love the informal style in the maintenance room.

Best video I've ever seen on tapering, you made it so simple and easy to understand, thank you!!

Rocky knew he had it in the bag, that's why he didn't even try to peak, to make the fight harder. Drago was a joke to him :D

I love the complete total sarcasm with this comment. Rocky had to become bulletproof to fight Drago

Only just found this 8 years after it was filmed. Dr Mike sounds waaaay different now.

Mad video. Particularly the individualisation and communicating with your coach. My bench takes the longest to recover of the three!

Always enjoy listening to you both; wealth of knowledge & experience! Looing forward to the hardcover when it comes out. Like to have the books in my vehicle & at the gym.

Great vid as complement to the known article. Another 'formula' that is really important in my opinion is Performance = Potential - Interference. Taken from the Inner Game books (started with the book 'The Inner Game of Tennis'). These books discuss how to overcome the mental barriers that are holding you back to excel and reach your full potential when the moment comes.

Definitely important and that's a great book. Its scope, sport psychology, though is much different than this book.

Back when Mike had hair and JT didn't make all of their lifters burn out with AI training.

Is there a hard copy version of the book available? If so, where can I purchase it? If not, when will it be available? Thank you.

The algorithm thought I should see this. This is some really old stuff. God damn Dr. Mike looks like a baby compared to today. Much more like a powerlifter too.
