Long time lurker of content and I finally have something to contribute other than my likes: A Mod Recommendation: "The Dregs" This character is an amalgamation of the bodies of the fallen Slayers of the Spire. If I had one sentence to describe this character it would be "Prismatic Shard The Character." Plus it has some really neat mechanics with special curses. Oh and the whale HATES YOU.

The Hermit has so many interesting and unique cards, but Frost is a simple guy. He was satisfied with the Strikes and Defends.

@@acoolcracker Yep! He was originally made as his own mod, but he is now part of the Downfall Mod (with slightly changed cards from his solo one.)

Hermit is rad but I'd love to see more boss character runs as well. Particularly Guardian, something about Guardian's card crafting is just infinitely engaging to me
Also, just for curiosity, has he played the farmer? I would like to see his reaction when he goes from a slay the spire gameplay into a stardew valley one.

This was a poggy run, but it hurt me a little to see Frost NOT finish the Time Eater with Dead or Alive.
Certainly wasn't a bad play to delete brawl and not pick up the vulnerable card
But just a heads up vulnerable and bruised stack
The bruised debuff is really interesting cuz it's kind of like poison and strength rolled into one

I think an enlightenment maintenance deck with the hermit would be really crazy, wouldn’t it? It would just negate the rising cost, meaning technically infinite dexterity and strike damage.
Love to see healing the last like 10 hp before act 2 boss... while having regal pillow and the relic that restores 25 hp at the start of a boss battle(i think its art of war but im not sure).
No idea why beating it with Virgil means a lot but im proud of you.

5:34 Roulette has got to be one of my favorite Hermit cards, because of how fast it lets you cycle your deck through unwanted cards
7:23 Dive, Gestalt, High Caliber ... you know I'd take all three of these cards, if I could ... High Caliber best synergizes with your build
11:00 & 15:18 Wide Open+ ... with Fusion Hammer, I'd pretty much be taking only upgraded cards and rares ... +vulnerable+ looks good
25:27 Gestalt+ is such a great card ... Rugged is the Hermit's best buff ... you know I wouldn't skip this one when it's offered upgraded
48:02 Dreamcatcher is one of my least favorite relics, but damn ... High-Caliber+, Quickdraw+, Wide Open+ ... I'd take all three again

bro i relate so much to andrew editing in low rez then exporting at the highest possible rez. cause when i first started to edit i had a shitty macbook air so i actually couldn't see what i was editing if the quality was anything higher then 480, but i could still export that shit at like 720.
But unlike andrew i quickly broke that habit once i got a new rig. But still i get where he's coming from
