Light branch is a neat addition since dead branch is one of the only relics in the game that can actively hurt your run. Makes sense to have an option to swap it out.
Ohh yeah, dead branch in shiv decks is not good.
Light Branch via a campfire free action gives you the Burning Branch relic: start combat with 5 regeneration 🔥

Dead branch is only bad if you are exhausting down to an infinite, which is rare enough that I don’t remember the last time I skipped dead branch, juzu bracelet and shopkeepers mask are negatives more often than dead branch.

Replay the Spire is just a very quality mod, especially if you just want a vanilla plus experience. I'm a bit played out with it for the moment and usually spice STS up with other mods but the fact remains it is one of the OGs for sure.
That was nuts. Interesting to note that the Counterbalance also applied to the shackled debuff, only returning half of the taken strength.
That first boss is so interesting!!!!! All the events from Act 1 combined
I would really like to see you try some of the touhou characters mods (eg: marisa , reimu , sakuya , the immortal .. ect) and the gensokyo act mod . Both the characters and the act mod have intresting mechanics.(espically the mechanics of some of the bosses in gensokyo mod they are super good)

Have you considered checking out the Library of Ruina mods for slay the spire? One adds effectively 2 characters, the other adds a full alternate set of floors.
Having now learned that a Library of Ruina mod exists I now need to replay Slay the Spire immediately
Really enjoying the modded content. If you are looking for pure content mods (non character), I have some great recommendations on top of replay the spire. These mods don’t change any major mechanics of the base game rather they add a bunch or relics, potions, cards, event, enemies, bosses, etc. The mods below are really great, and the authors would probably be delighted if were to highlight their work. I play with all of these at once (it’s stable!) and its makes slaying the spire so much more enjoyable.

You should try out the VUPShion mod, it's really cool and adds a new Boss Fight after the heart, there's nothing too NSFW in it from what I've seen, but there's a toggle to turn off the things that might be TOS

Counterbalance is busted as hell with dark shackles. They lose 9 health for the turn but only gain half of it back. Just permanently loses them strength.
