I would love to hear what someone at your skill level would think of the tones that you would get from the plugins by Nalex. I have zero connection to the person or company it is just that they are free to try, cost like $10 if you like it and some of them sound really good! He has plugins that match the Mesa sounds, Friedman sounds, Marshall sounds, Bogner Uberschall, and a few others and the tones seem quite authentic. The Friedman tones (the VST called Crunchman) combined with a ML Soundlab IR which is claimed to be the exact IR that Periphery used on P3 gets me... the exact Periphery tone! But my playing is not consistent enough and my producing skills are zero so I just thought I would mention them to see if you would give them a go?

Also - I have only heard of ERRA and Invent Animate so this is great as I love finding new music that is above average... so much stuff out there that I just don't find interesting... love the complex, fast, articulate, songs that are not power cord based... ERRA is indeed one of my favorites although I am not sure that I am gelling too much with their last 2 records... but man, when they get it right there is no band out there that can really match them! That is an opinion of course. Cheers!
