    My 71 I got at 9 years old back in 1999 was originally red and I drove it around for 10 years in gray primer. I just got my brother's 73 from Philly bought back in 1997 it teal and I was thinking of doing this color

    Beauty. I'm about to put an R2.8 into a Defender. If you have any tidbits on what your initial drives were with the engine, or your clients, maybe post them.

    • @procruiser
      @procruiser  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a good idea. Most of the time we ship the rigs off to their owners and don't get to see their reaction. I'll look for the next chance to get an initial drive on camera!

    I like this video format better than the prior style. We see more of the build as it progresses and you have incorporated more snippets of interesting build data. The only thing missing is a brief test drive at the end. :)

    When you are filming the mechanics talking about the vehicle - could you please focus the camera on the vehicle and what they are doing and not just on the mechanic? It would be nice to both see and hear what they are doing rather than just listening to them talking. Thx.

      Hi Travis. We used Rigid Truck-Lite. Build details on this rig can be seen here:
