I never believed it was Meri's idea to divorce Kody. There was no reason why Kody couldn't insure those kids without marrying Robyn. You can claim people on insurance if they are your dependents, even adults. Kody or his friends should have been responsible for Dayton's medical bill because he was guilty of not supervising Dayton.

My ex had the Ambulance bring him to the Hospital where I worked, even though it was out of their area (long story). Of course I asked what happened. Not to lay any blame. Kids are kids. Apparently my oldest at 11 and he rode just a bit too close together and the pedal of one nicked the spikes of the youngest's wheel, caysingvthe bike to suddenly stop, throwing my youngest off of the bike. He had no helmet on. I did not scream and carry on. The only one out of my ex, and the two boys who wasn't upset...was the one getting the stitches...and me. Go figure. It's normal to want to know what happened to your child. I think it's the guilt and money that causedcsuch a reaction in Kody and Robyn. That and they saw an opportunity.

Unless they drew up a contract had it signed and notarized they are out of luck except with the land. When Janelle and Meri loaned Robyn the money to pay off her debt they just handed over the money. Nothing to show proof it was a loan. Meri might have had a chance because she was still married to Kody but they divorced and he married Robyn. Same with the money that the women loaned them for the house. Again no contract. Coming to find out later that Sobyn used a picture of Grody, Christine, and a couple of their kids and had the artist basically cut out Christine and the kids and put her three kids in the picture instead. When Robyn said "that sucker's done" when it was clear that Meri was devastated was the final straw for me. She may as well have said "Yay! now I get to be #1 legally!" The legal documents don't sound like they were actually drawn up by a lawyer. If they were, the lawyer doesn't know proper grammar and uses incorrect words in place of correct ones. EG - Preston was to sign the "relinquishment" documents and that would "distinguish" his parental rights. It should have read that he would "relinquish" his parental rights. I think he has a case to fight them on this to have it overturned if he wanted to and if he wasn't ill.
So in order to qualify for the house she had to claim income from the show. If you make over a certain amount the Medicaid stops. Then Kody takes him out on an ATV without proper protection or supervision- he gets seriously injured- and with no insurance. The medical debt is assigned to custodial parent. Father has the nerve to ask his son what happened- Robin is ballistic because Dayton probably tells him that he was with Kody- then the bullying and blackmail of Preston begins- so he doesn’t expose Kody’s negligence. Those two are diabolical and truly evil people.
I never watched the earlier seasons. I came in around season 11. Thankfully I didn’t because I’m ready to have Robyn catch a few hands. She’s a snake in the grass with that scene with Meri in the beginning.

Apparently my oldest at 11 and he rode just a bit too close together and the pedal of one nicked the spikes of the youngest's wheel, caysingvthe bike to suddenly stop, throwing my youngest off of the bike. He had no helmet on. I did not scream and carry on. The only one out of my ex, and the two boys who wasn't upset...was the one getting the stitches...and me. Go figure.

Unless they drew up a contract had it signed and notarized they are out of luck except with the land. When Janelle and Meri loaned Robyn the money to pay off her debt they just handed over the money. Same with the money that the women loaned them for the house. Again no contract. The land may be different because all their names are on it as legal owners so if they get a lawyer they may see something.

Christine is still ptating on a $250,000 bill from when Truely went into kidney failure which probably never would have happened except Christine was out of town with the other wives and Kody was supposed to be taking care of Truely. Christine had to come up with $50,000 to pay for the ins for Ysabel's surgery. Kody never made any effort to help pay these bills, nor did he ever bother to be with his kids when they needed him. But look at what complete destruction he caused with his marriage to Meri and the removal of Preston from their lives so he and Robyn could get what they wanted! Preston as David’s father could have sued both Kody and the owner of the property and ATV for David’s injuries. I never thought the divorce was Meri's idea. One of the most tasteless things I've ever seen was the drawing with Grody and Sobyns first three kids when they were small she presented to him. Coming to find out later that Sobyn used a picture of Grody, Christine, and a couple of their kids and had the artist basically cut out Christine and the kids and put her three kids in the picture instead. It was just gross.

That moment ended any grace I had felt for her.

Robyn knew from the start that Kody was done with Meri, long before the divorce, I am sure Kody made promises to Meri about working on their relationship, he and Robyn both worked on her, you can tell Robyn is happy when Meri tells her the divorce is final and she says, you need to call Kody (Lets get this ball rolling).
The legal documents don't sound like they were actually drawn up by a lawyer. If they were, the lawyer doesn't know proper grammar and uses incorrect words in place of correct ones. EG - Preston was to sign the "relinquishment" documents and that would "distinguish" his parental rights. It should have read that he would "relinquish" his parental rights. I think he has a case to fight them on this to have it overturned if he wanted to and if he wasn't ill.

So in order to qualify for the house she had to claim income from the show. If you make over a certain amount the Medicaid stops. Then Kody takes him out on an ATV without proper protection or supervision- he gets seriously injured- and with no insurance. The medical debt is assigned to custodial parent. Father has the nerve to ask his son what happened- Robin is ballistic because Dayton probably tells him that he was with Kody- then the bullying and blackmail of Preston begins- so he doesn’t expose Kody’s negligence. Those two are diabolical and truly evil people.
I never watched the earlier seasons. I came in around season 11. Thankfully I didn’t because I’m ready to have Robyn catch a few hands. She’s a snake in the grass with that scene with Meri in the beginning.
