I'm experimenting, and I think a trick may be to have 3 audios. 1 for left, right, and center. That and reverb. So far it seems to have greatly improved the effect. But there may still be a bit more tricks to altering each track slightly to get that circling effect. I noticed sometimes it sounds like it's further away when in the center, so I'm gonna try alternating each second center part once I figure out how to make it sound like it's "behind". Which may mean a total of 4 tracks.
guys, use the tremolo effect (sine, one track 0 deg, the other 180 deg) instead of manually creating every single transition. Globally Adjust the pan by the L R pan of the tracks as well as the wet level of the tremolo effect (higher for more extreme panning).
@@gomigg_ depending on the genre, I usually use something in the range of 0.1 to 0.5 Hz. It can also be interesting to have subtracks at different frequencies, e.g. the bass panning at 0.1 Hz and the melody at 0.2 Hz.
So, I watched this yesterday and immediately had to try it. I have Audacity already, and use it for audio editing sometimes. I somehow overlooked the envelope tool, so that helped significantly. (I'm used to having access to that for software like FL Studio.) - This creates a rather cool effect. It isn't as harsh as a hard left-right channel pan. That's always jarring, but sometimes cool for dance tracks when you want a had side to side motion to the sound. This is lighter, airy, and feels much more 'open'. Maybe that's a poor choice of words, but.. I will definitely use this from time to time.
Thank you for this helpful tutorial, Steven. I have a Fiverr voiceover gig and one of my clients wanted 8D audio so I was able to provide that for them!
the reverb effect doesn't really help achieving that sound experience of distant playing music like i've heard 8d songs around youtube. it only creates an effect of listening to the song in a large room with echo. i need that extra feeling, i do believe the editing process takes more than just simple reverb.
Very useful, thanks for sharing. My channel is all about hair dryer sounds, I would like to use that technique to improve my recordings, which are binaural ones. Have a lovely day! 😊

@@ArmadusMalaysia I know, but 8D needs stereo to work.

How to Make 8D Audio
8D sound had nothing to do with sliding Stereo Effect.
What People call 8D is nothing but Atmos Dolby Surround.
I don't hear an difference
It is not similar with real 8d.
this isn't 8d audio. this is just panning. wtf dude. why you gotta lie? have you ever even listen to something that was 8d audio?
