We're so happy to see that you're having fun using the acrylic marker to draw the phone holder and the cat. They're all so adorable!😻 And yes placing the markers with the nib facing down is a better way to keep the marker wet haha. And also thank you so much for the feedback on the color range!
Bothe works or art are great with the phone holder being my favorite. I really like gold and purple together. They are royal colors. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉I was thinking a bird would be great like the other person commented on. Great content 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Sorry another reply. I have mine lying flat in a draw and they work fine. I sometimes do have issues with lids that you think are in coming off and that dries a nib. I just stuck the pen in some water to nib level for maybe half an hour and the pen worked beautifully again. You won't have issues having them horizontal, they'll come good again 😃 the cats are cute too by the way.
They're BRUSH TIPS!! OMG I have the Poscas that are brush tips, but they only make a set of twelve basic colors in their brush tips! Brush tips are my favorite and now I can have allllllll the colors!!!!
What a gorgeous phone holder, them roses really stand out with the gold, but I'm with you about the white highlights on them, defo didn't need them, and your kitty's oh my gosh!! How stinking cute!! Loved the patch's on them, I'm thinking some gold and silver spider webs on a black background would look awesome on the other phone holder, that would really stand out, and nice and easy to do also! :D
I bought their 2 marker sets last year, which was when they had only 2x30 sets. I wish they hadn't changed as now I don't know which ones I have. I can tell you have some brighter colours than mine. I probably have half of each box. I love posca, but I don't even bother with other markets then Arrtx now. They're just so easy. All my colours seem a tad more pastel, but they work beautifully and cover really really well. These markers are ridiculously cheap and when you compare to Karin markers which is over $300 for their full 60 set, these are just far better value. Karin are more likely to be lightfast though, but these aren't really are for fun quick projects. I love how they blend too. I totally could be a rep for them, I have so much positive feedback on my experience with these markers. My only issue with these was using on a wood slice. They actually worked beautifully, but the wood is a little rough and the nib is soft, so it would destroy the nibs with long term use. I would agree it might be the white paint that causes issues. You saw my last video and I used my markers a few times over dried acrylics and they were fine. It sucks it didn't work well over the acrylics you used. Try it with your Golden paints and I think you'll see better results 🙂
Ahh it's difficult when packaging changes, and it's hard to know if the new ones are different to the old ones, haha! I think the nibs are pretty fragile and they work best on very smooth surfaces, Even the plaster cats were a bit dodgy but the gesso helped immensely! 😄
Your cats are adorable! I like the white highlights on the roses. Your videos always make me happy - I think it's your own happy attitude coming through and your cute laughs here and there. ❤
They are all so lovely! Thank you for the review on those pens. I have been going back and forth about getting those. I still don't know if I will or not, but it was great to see them in action! I think you should paint the kitty trio on the 3rd phone holder!
They are really nice! I'm not sure how long they'll last as I haven't had a great track record with keeping paint pens going for long, but I have hopes these will last longer because the paint's already in the nibs rather than having to pump it down, and them drying out. Oooh the kitties...maybe they will make an appearance again!
Love how you did not have to shake those markers to death to get them working! Loved the See no, hear no and speak no evil kittens! SO cute! Really like the gold around their eyes.
enjoyed your video as always! i also thought of that old drawing you did as soon as i saw those cats! also i would love for you to revisit the little kremer palette ^^
Thank you! It's lovely you remembered the original cat picture. ❤ I was just using the gold out of the Kremer palette the other day and remembering how good it is, haha!
@@markyteo Hi, Mark! Yes, I think it would probably work very well, so long as the washi tape doesn't have a shiny or slippery surface. It'd need to be a very neatly taped job, to avoid any _unwanted_ gaps or overlaps (ie not any gaps or overlaps that are part of the pattern), or pulling up the washi tape while putting on the varnish, but Becky's certainly well-capable to do that sort of task. 😊
The price tends to fluctuate on Amazon, especially when they have their Prime sales, so I tend not to post a price because it will usually change the following week, lol.
Hi, Becky! The colours, and especially the patches, on the cats lifted them to a fun work of art rather than a very cute, but out-dated, dull cat ornament or AI copy-cat-ing (oops, the pun was _not_ intentional!) and this is why I believe that RealLife artists will always be around, A1 or not! Both roses and cats turned out well, but (personal opinion which others will almost certainly disagree with, and not intended to upset you) for me the white highlights you're using so often recently aren't necessary, and again, a personal opinion, I think that adding so many is spoiling some of the things you do - like the roses and the patches here. Your work is really good, joyous and pleasing to the eye already! 🤗 As for the other phone holder? 🤔 Maybe one of your favouite topics - starry night / galaxy?
Thank you for your thoughts! I agree that AI can only go so far when it comes to art, as nothing beats the human mind. But it's interesting (also scary) to see how good it's getting in general. I'm still planning to make art anyway, lol. Highlights are definitely a preference; I like them on the patches but agree it was overkill on the roses. I just like adding white paint to things, and it's also a signal to myself that I've finished it, haha! 😂
@@BeckyTregear _But it's interesting (also scary) to see how good [AI} is getting in general._ Yes, I agree! I find it scary that the people developing AI seem to have lost sight of the impact the AI is having / is going to have on people in general, and the fact that various governments have expressed concern, and are trying to control the research and development shows me just how serious it is. It troubles me that so many ArtTubers are using it, instead of continuing the adventure of developing our own, genuine creativity... It is sooo tempting to me to want to see what it turns up, just for curiosity, but I resist, because I know how easy I'd find it to short-cut this way, and I'd get dependant on it, I use digital art to scan, edit and manipulate some of my own work - mostly 'from imagination' drawings (saving paper and tracing and all that stuff) and working out the best compositions from my photos. But even though it is still my own hand and creativity doing the creating, I tend to feel sometimes that it's making me lazy...and then I think I'm jut being daft! It is still 'me' doing the creating, after all... Highlights: I did say it was a purely personal opinion, and only mentioned it cos you asked. 🙂 At base, I'm just very happy that you are you doing your own thing (especially in the light of so many look-a-like art channels ) and I'll go on enjoying your videos for as long as you go on making them and I have what's needed to view them!!!! 🤗

Thank you so much for letting me try them out, they're such great pens! I'll keep them upright with nibs down, for sure.😊
The third phone holder you could do fruit slices 🥝🍉
Cute idea, I'm writing that down as an option!
🥰 The Cats!
They turned out cute, I think! 😊
All your work is beautiful and creative. The cats are adorable.
Thank you so much! 😊
Ocean/ that's my suggestion for your 3rd phone holder :) But. there must be a sea turtle 😊 Great review as always.
Thank you for the lovely suggestion! 😊

This is so good, what a gorgeous set ☺☺

Thank you! Yes, I regret the white highlights, lol! Never mind, I'll live with it. 😂 A silver web would look awesome on black!
That's just gorgeous. Lovely cats. For the last phone holder maybe draw a Ara-Papagei (MAcaw-parrot) google translated😅
Thank you! A macaw parrot is a lovely idea, I'll write that one down. ❤

Thank you! 😊
I did a patchwork after watching your video with the phone holder. I scanned it as my screen saver.
Oh that's so fun! 😊❤️
BECKY.. Way to SHARE YOUR JOY!!!
Thank you, they were a joy to use. 😊
Love how you did not have to shake those markers to death to get them working! Loved the See no, hear no and speak no evil kittens! SO cute! Really like the gold around their eyes.
Pre-primed pens for the win! Thank you 😊
I always feel inspired when watching your videos. Also the white highlights where perfect they made the roses complete ❤
Thank you so much 😀
😍 Love the floral phone-holder. You took it from 'pretty' to 'gorgeous' with the addition of metallic gold.
Thank you, I was so happy the gold worked out; it's such a beautiful shiny metallic!
I think the creepiness comes from your subconscious, given your love for heavy metal music 😂
lol! I have a mild phobia of dolls with their creepy eyes...ugh I've always hated them, haha!
Love all of them! 🥰
Thank you! ❤
For the phone holder you could do a cute puppy
Lovely idea! I'll add it to the list, thank you 😊
The third phone holder would really be nice to do Van Gogh sunflowers
Oooh! I like that idea! ❤
How fun you found the same ceramic as the cat photo you did!! Love the phone holder, with the white highlights. I need these pens!!!
I'm so happy the idea translated from a flat drawing to a 3D ornament, haha!
Another supply i really want to try lol so many supplies, so little space 😛
nah, dont think the white ruined it!
I would like to see white ducks on a blue background
Noted! Thank you 😊
Looks like such fun!
I really did have fun with these projects! 😆
Nice one’

An idea: maybe you could paint balloons in different colours on the phone holder?
That's a really cute idea, I like it! 🎈
👍👍👍
I think you should washi-tape the phone holder
Interesting idea; I do love to washi tape things!
@@BeckyTregear Washi tape would look pretty, but wouldn't it get tatty quite quickly for something like this? 🤔
@@MrsBarnabas would a coat of varnish keep it in place?

Do something geometric on phone holder
Thank you - good idea!
Please mentions this price ❤❤❤❤

How about parrots on the next phone holder?
That seems to be the most popular suggestion so far; I'm liking it!
Simple, colourful snakes and ladders game on the 3rd phone holder? 🐍🪜
Cute idea, thank you!
