Doesn't mean the fight isn't difficult. If it's that tough and he's just going easy on you... I hate to be Dracula on the other end of that whip in 1999, when the mighty hunter was in his prime.
Heart of Fire was my favorite track in CV1, so when I heard that part show up out of nowhere in the fight with Julius, this song instantly became one of my favorite tracks in the series.
This is my favorite boss fight in the entire Castlevania series. The uncovering of J being a Belmont was awesome, the music is awesome, and the fight is awesome!!!! I also like how they made him a difficult boss. He is a Belmont after all. :)
Almost for me, Julius Belmont is a harder boss than Chaos. But thats how it should be, after all, Julius is the strongest Belmont Besides Just and Richter.
I don't know if there were more memorable battles in the history of GBA games such as Soma vs Julius. But i admit it i enjoyed this rather than fighting Graham. The part from 2:03 sounds a bit like Bloody Tears.
It sounds like Bloody Tears because it's a common passage in baroque music, which is the inspiration for Castlevania music. You can find it in Heart of Fire, Bloody Tears, Aquarius (kinda), and other songs also
Absolutely fantastic render, my good sir. I love this one to death. However, there IS one little gripe I have with it. The bit starting from 2:03. The GBA version had some pipe organs thrown in there, and I've been scouring the internet to find a proper MP3 rendition of that. Sadly, I did not find that here. But besides that lil' nit pick, awesome. Truly awesome.
Dharkon thinking he can get away with ruining the Nostradamus Prophecy by ressurecting Dracula after his final defeat in 1999 when he hear's this be like:

I just found your channel yesterday and I really love most of your stuff. In particular it always saddened me that the handheld Castlevanias had some really good tunes but the sound quality was quite bad. I know some of them appear in Harmony of Despair but they are far too heavily remixed for me to like; they lack the whole Castlevania feel.
Es verdad, Julius Belmont es el cazador de vampiros más poderoso del clan Belmont y la segunda vez que combatí contra el use solamente una daga común y las almas más poderosas en fuerza bruta para ganar
I somehow beat this guy on my first try. I used I think 1 or 2 super potions, but I did end up beating him, and mainly using my default attack instead of a soul.
Simon could whip in all eight directions so he's more powerful than juste...juste was the most magical richter was the most skilled julius was the most agile even at age 56 leon was the toughest and desmond.........was the worst.......

Forget about Simon and Richter; when the next Smash game comes out, I want him to represent Castlevania.
And on top of that the Vampire Killer was extremely weakened to a state hardly similar to it’s original power
