@Dokuro Unless, however, the seals are "drawn" by doing the same movements displayed on the screen, sort of like a fighting game input minus the special attack itself.
Robert Walker Correct, but this posted arrangement was made using all soundfonts. He was complementing on how the soundfonts make it sound just like the arcade version.
In some point of my life i read a magazine, where they say, "Simon Belmont Haunted Castle shares the same name of the legendary hero, but this Belmont is a famous actor of the 30s movies".
That would actually make a lot of sense and could easily be used to fit into the Castlevania continuity, with one of the Belmonts deciding to pursue a life of acting while the Morris family was entrusted with the Vampire Killer. It would also explain the cliche plot of "Save the love interest," which doesn't really fit in with the standard Castlevania plot (Rondo of Blood not withstanding, as others were taken too, and Rondo's 90's anime style meant they were probably trying to appeal to a somewhat younger audience anyways.)
This is actually true the last of the Belmonts comes from a French actor whose last name is belmondo the reason it was changed over seas was to avoid copyright
Such a neat version of the song. Honestly, really highlights how “Don’t Wait Until Night” builds up so well into “Heart of Fire.” Both are good on their own, but it just hypes the latter up so damn well.
I'm trying to share my remixes to people who love the classic videogames. That's very Awesome :D i'm glad you like what i'm sharing. I will never quit to doing this... I hope.
Half of it, he did, The first part from 0:00 - 0:51: was just from the original game. The rest was from Aria of Sorrow (with a Heart of Fire remix taken from the original Castlevania). It goes into a loop afterwards.
***** I guess from what you're saying, he's trying to make it accurate to how it sounded in that specific game, including the beginning part. clearly did his homework on that one.
Classics will always be remembered, especially when there are people like you around that make these remixes, by the way how's Old Enemy coming along? Such a great song to kick Dracula's ass by.
They're referring to a Castlevania game that takes place in 1999, which was when Julius Belmont sealed Dracula away for good, which caused him to get amnesia.
+WaxingName This game used a YM3812 and a wavetable chip to produce its music from what I understand. Basically, like an old Soundblaster card. In theory, you could reproduce the FM synth and pull the wavetable data if you really wanted to. I think there's actually a tool to do the first that would work on a ROM.
@@HaveYouTriedGuillotines The wavetable chip in question is the Konami SCC sound chip, which was commonly used in Konami's MSX games. And the sound chip being used for the PCM samples is the K007232 , which is a 2 channel PCM sound chip used in many of Konami's arcade games!
Crucifix Held Close actually debuted in Haunted Castle under the name Cross Your Heart. The first half of Heart of Fire also debuted in Haunted Castle, with the second half being Don't Wait Until Night in the original Castlevania.
@@SharkLordProductions you got that backwards bud, Don't Wait Until Night was from Haunted Castle while the second half of this song is Heart of Fire from the original Castlevania.
That could work. He doesn't have high speed like Juste or magical attributes like Richter. But, his damage output should be INSANE! I mean almost one hit kill stuff. PS: I think it should be Leon. He IS the first....technically.
And finally this game is getting a well deserved remake.
Somewhere, in an alternate universe, someone is playing Aria of Sorrow on an arcade cabinet.
Just imagine how much money the arcade cabinets will get from people trying to get 100% souls...
Unless the cabinet is strictly Julius mode only.
Or the battle of 1999.
@@ryanprower4246 Umbra of Sorrow arcade cabinet when
@Dokuro Unless, however, the seals are "drawn" by doing the same movements displayed on the screen, sort of like a fighting game input minus the special attack itself.
there are indeed arcade cabinets with this game, though they are emulator-stations of various games, y'know, the "1000 in one" game style cabinets
I'm truly impressed! The beginning of this song sounds almost completely identical to its original Haunted Castle counterpart!
That's because it *is* from Haunted Castle. Patricio Herrera just extended it by adding it after finishing the remix part.
Robert Walker They are referring to the soundfonts used.
Buzz-Duh Yeah, but still, notice at 0:51, it switches to a remix, then back to the original song at 2:27, and it goes in a loop.
Robert Walker Correct, but this posted arrangement was made using all soundfonts. He was complementing on how the soundfonts make it sound just like the arcade version.
+Buzz-Duh What If that's the case, how is that even possible to recreate the first half like that?!?

this sounds way fuller than the original, almost like it was a cut version. i know it's from Aria, but it just...FITS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL

MikeMic productions ??..
Dang son! How'd you make this?
This version should have been used in the arcade game.
It's too long for the stage it'd be used on, by about 40 seconds. And you can't stop to listen because of the collapsing bridge.
Bloodlyshiva And the time limit once you cross the bridge.
Nice :33 I think that The last Belmont must be the most powerful of all.
And that Belmont should be Simon :) in my opinion, hehe.

Thanks! :D
