The same excellent Team that beats everybody, can lose to a lower ranking team exactly because they have a totally different Soccer Personality. It happened a lot to Brazil in the 90's especially against Nordic countries. It happened in 1998 for (not against) Croatia. ..and so that's what we will have going in the game on Friday. Two different cultures in terms of Soccer, yet both the Americans and the Moroccans have plenty of European Soccer DNA in them. It's going to be a beautiful game to watch, especially if we can ignore the side show that's sometimes shameful from (ONLY) a small segment of the Moroccan Fans. Raja Fans are unfortunately are part of the Moroccan Soccer FAN Base, but they are not Representative of the Moroccan FANS as a whole. In Europe all the Leagues have the Promotion System, and they're successful within the Leagues and on the National Team Level. I.E. they don't lose Money nor do they lose chances to win World Cups. We don't have the promotion system in MLS yet we have some money problems and we don't win World Cup, not even Copa America (Gold Cup isn't enough of a test) So, if between Germany Italy England Spain and France they have 12 World Cups for their National Teams together, but we don't even have one, and they make so much money more from Soccer than we do, How can any US Soccer expert be against the Promotion system? Between Brazil Argentina and Uruguay they have 11 World Cups for the national teams and they too have the promotion system in their local leagues. The promotion system rejuvenate Soccer by kicking the bad team down to restructure or fire all their players and start fresh and get promoted when they're good enough. What does the current MLS system we have for US Soccer in terms of creating better opportunities for the USMNT and the US FAN base etc..?
