I have used a bowl from sea to summer in the same material. I love how it took up zero space in my backpack. However, the bowl broke during the first hiking trip I used it on (for reference, I stored it in my trangia cooking kit during the hike and only used it for my breakfast). I still like it enough though to give it another go. I think I might just have been unlucky during that trip because my new pillow also broke during that trip😅
Oh no! That's terrible! Where on the bowl did it break? I haven't had any issues with these; they seem durable. As mentioned, I've used them for several months and on many trips. It is possible it was a manufacturing error.
@@theoutdoorminimalist it broke in one of the folds that was lower down on the bowl. It started almost like a small cut but the more I used it the more it grew. So at the end of my hiking trip I had a tear around half of the bowl so I had to tilt it so the food would stay in the bowl. I tried to mend it with tape but it wouldn’t stick to the silicone surface😅

@@rebeccasartcorner Did they replace it? I'd call out for warranty on that for sure!
And we didn't even get to see them collapsed together
Thanks for watching! To see it collapsed together, go to 03:00 in the video. Hope that helps!
