Thank you for yet another wonderfully detailed review, Alan. I’m in my 50s and have always preferred neutral, balanced speakers. Since I don’t listen to anything especially loudly, the MaxSound Plus is one of my favourite speakers. My two sons who are early 20s in university are a different matter. They greatly prefer the Xsound Plus 2 due to the more apparent bass. Detail isn’t that important for them. It’s all about the thump and sizzle. As much as it pains me to see the Xsound Plus 2 replace the MaxSound Plus, it’s probably true that Tribit will sell more speakers when tuned to a V-shape over neutral. If neutral is what most people want, Bose wouldn’t have the rabid fans it has.

there is a tiny delay just 16ms in my testing
I don't like what tribit done to this spiker it 100% downgrade compre to original one and thy call xsoud2????? Yes the Bluetooth is v5 ATS 2833 but its a low end spec compare to original 4.3 ATS 2825 the amplifier more power but distortion alot and sound not good is the same amplifier use in tribit flow ACM3108 original one use TPA3118 and glue all over the spiker include passive radiator 😢disappointing keep the original and the upgraded one ...and I so confuse tribit mega and ,max sound plus have high end dual core cup extra memory in the Bluetooth, modules but never get update or tweak...tribit blast have Single core no extra memory very low end Bluetooth modules No DSP ats 2853 but get frimware and tweak 😂
thanks. thats interesting, i really had no idea on what chips and modules have been used. but at the end of the day tuning is make or break for them whatever they use.
@@alanrossreviews yes that Tru but I didn't expect tribit will cut corners the amplifier.... the Bluetooth modules from ATS is RSIC cpu is free architecture compre To ARM use by Qualcomm/CSR so if tribit anker all other use Qualcomm thy need to pay license to ARM make cost more.... I love u review Alan as always ❤
Is tribit x sound plus 2 is better than JBL flip 6. Could you bring an another comparison
ive not yet directly compared them. what kind of sound are you looking for?
@@alanrossreviewsspecifically tdm, bass boosted. Would be better if you shown how these deals all genre of music.
@@PappyPappy-qw7wx do you know how many genres of music there are?
@@alanrossreviews please 🥺 iam in great confusion and ina an urge to buy a speaker but these two speakers confuses... begging you to make a comparison...😭😭😭🥺🙏
I'm confused. Is there a difference between Maxsound Eq and Maxsound Traditional Eq?
not sure what you mean by maxsound eq, you mean the actual maxsound speaker? then yes they are different
@@alanrossreviews Yes I think that's what I meant. Thanks.
Why is it whenever trybeat updates stuff it always makes a positive impact whereas soundcore always manage to mess things up ?? 😂😂
because one is a small company and the other is the devil in disguise?? just a theory 😂
Compare x sound plus 2 with JBL flip 6 we are waiting
do you think this is more likely or less likely when you demand via multiple posts and multiple accounts? please and thank you often helps.
Stormbox flow or xsound plus 2 ?
please or thank you ?
Is the battery of xsoung plus good?
It's all explained in the video
@@alanrossreviews because i am brazilian and don't understand very well but i wll try.
17.5 watt hours which is ok, nothing amazing
@@alanrossreviews thanks a lot Alan
Do you have an eq for flow?
no i havent actually used it since my last video 🤣
@@alanrossreviews really?😔
Is it worse than the other models?
no its just that i have so many options its not something im gonna pick up over say a flex.
@@alanrossreviews but the tribit can sound better if eq it well maybe?
It does have deeper bass capability and way way longer battery life and a better connection
@@shoerice5083 well the app no longer works for me so i cant eq it right now 😭😭
Can it now compete with the soundcore boost? Can't decide which one to get.
its closer between them than you might think but maxsound still on muddy side
Get the boost, more balanced speaker in my opinion. I returned the Xsound plus 2. I haven’t really found anything that is on par with the boost yet,
@@youtubeuser5424Did you return before or after the firmware update?
@@waynedexter I returned after, like Al says it still not quite the same as the original plus.
@@youtubeuser5424 It’s not quite the same and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. In some ways that’s actually a good thing. What ever weaknesses the original had the new version addresses them. The major issue being the lack of bass above 50 percent. So with that said I’m willing to sacrifice a smidge of balance/clarity if I can get more bass, more volume and get an app in return
I'll keep my Soundcore Boom 2 as my shower 😅
different beast altogether
xsound plus 2 vs xsound mega comparison?
mega is much bigger and bass heavy
Hey alan. I understand that TH-cam compresses the audio. But the audio on your videos sounds 96kbps. I think soundcore might be responsible. Other TH-cam content creators don't have such issues. It's really strange. I think you touched a vital corporate nerve
you are saying my recordings sound bad??
@@alanrossreviews least for me they do. Very low bitrate
tell tribit to go back to the old logo. this new one looks cheap. let’s see if they listen 👂
we need a new fancy big logo IMHO
@@alanrossreviews like JBL & soundcore. BIG logos
Hat's on hour.
of course 🤣
remove 31hz with xeq
Huh?
@@alanrossreviews 31hz cannot be heard
Waiting with bated breath 😂
🤣
🤣
😁
Can this be paired with Maxsound Plus Upgraded?
nope only to itself and the flow
Is it better than the stormbox 24w?
I haven't heard the latest gen stormbox
