- Muhammad Zubair, one of two people who survived a plane crash in Pakistan, has described his escape from the burning aircraft after a second failed attempt to land in Karachi on the eve of the Muslim festival of Eid. The Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A320 with 99 passengers and eight crew members aboard crashed into a crowded residential district on Friday afternoon

Feel very sad for all the passengers who were one minute away from meeting their loved ones on the festival of Eid..
The fact people are surviving such devastating plane crashes nowadays is a testimony to the safety improvements in airplanes.
It is however a tragedy everytime a plane crashes.

2 people are more than zero people which is the usual survival rate in plane crashes of the past.
Everyone is talking about the people in that flight but nobody’s talking about the people on which flight landed

After new evidence it’s becoming clear that it was pilot error. It’s day 3 of the crash.

With hindsight, had the pilot forcelanded on the first attempt , more people would probably have survived, the plane was at least landing on the run way and would have slowed down enough for some or the majority to survive, so sorry for all the people on board 😥😥😥😥😥😥
if the pilot decides to crash land due to landing gear issues. they climb up to dump the fuel before crash landing so the thousands of gallon of fuel is out of the equation when the landing attempt is made.
so so sad, particularly the little ones onboard😥
If there were issues with the landing gear, then both engines failed, the quality of the Airbus needs to be questioned. It's hard to believe that the landing gear and both engines of a well maintained plane can all fail .
@@ingridphilips3949 Agreed its tragic, I'm sure airbus will be doing a investigation, Along with Pakistan International Airlines doing one too. I think the maintenance were the issue but time will tell. Very sad, RIP to all lost and condolences to the family's and loved ones effected.

The pilot could have avoided the crash altogether, but he made one dumb mistake after another. This might just go down as the most careless and avoidable plane crash in history

What was the cause of the crash?
Engine failure
They did land on the first attempt but the landing gear appears to not deployed so the pilot tell the atc theyre going around, it is too late for saving the engine from being damaged by runway but they able to fly again and going for the second landing attempt, sadly both engines failed right before the landing :((

@Cincinnati Reds But pilots do take such a course. All pilots do. One of the best-in-case scenario would be to do a water landing when the landing gears fail to deploy, but its much easier said than done as it requires so much technical prowness, right environmental conditions and precision to pull it off.
It's outright impossible to do just that if your engines are down.
