- Inferno festival 2024 was a blast. Lots of good talks, interviews, gigs, bands, friends, beers and so on.
In this video Jerry will go through the festival with his thoughts and show the venues and bit more in the second part of the video. Enjoy!

Fun video :))
Awesome!
Gorgoroth’s singer was Atteringer from Serbia!
Thanks for the info!
😊
Atterigner recorded the vocals at Instinctus Bestialis, hence he is not that unknown. It was his first stage appearance with Gorgoroth and rumors are that he will replace Ørjan permanently. I hope not😁
@Ana6ta6ia I hope not, too, as he pales in comparison.
Hi Jerry thanks for your recap. Ive been listening to a few reviews of the festival and everyone says Dimmu was the crown jewel of the fest.
Also, if you run into Martti tell him hes adorable for me 😄!
Dimmu for sure put the best show out there! No one can argue with that. After that it just comes down to individuaol musical tastes.
I will tell Martti your words. I am sure he’d be happy to see you some day!
Really looking forward to the interview with Umbra, they were the highlight of the whole festival for me. Nice recap! See you next year 🔥
Ace! Thanks! See you!
The Satanic Panic chocolate chili stout was the fuel of choice. Absolutely delicious!
Damn. Didn't try that one.
I wish Signs of Swarms would tour though where i am 😭. And thanks for trying with Kampfar, maybe next time 🖤.
i will keep trying! They said no two years ago, said yes for Midgardsblot 2023 (where I didn’t go) and now said no again :D
Good vid, festival looks interesting. Nice that you showed around the venue and the setting in Oslo. Might make the decision of going there myself some year.
Thanks for the feedback!
Inferno has been a trendfest since 2006
Chicken spikes and Rignes
Fy faen
Nei takk
Oh, I didn't buy a single Rignes there. I just had microbrewery habanero & reaper beers all the time.
There are no events that won't become "trendy" when the events become good. That's how the life goes.
@@RautaMetal Very nice...about the beer, anyways 🤣
Things change
Maybe a nice "black MEtal cruise" on the frostbitten oceans of the Caribbean? 🤣
Cheerz
Personally I don't care if an event is big or small as long as the bands are interesting to me. Like I have been to Wacken five times and enjoyed it a lot back in the days.
When it comes to Rauta or travelling in general, doesn't make really sense budget-wise to travel far away for interviews nobody even bothers to watch. So events like Steelfest, Inferno and Beyond the Gates take the top priority for my Rauta work. They offer big/interesting enough artists to justify the trip and offer me bands I want to see. Smaller events might be more interesting than some bigger ones, but money-wise it is not sensible to do with Rauta.
