- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 11 ก.ค. 2024
- Diocletian has been going over 20 years by now making their way towards success with unrelenting music and style. But what you see on stage might be music of war and violence. What you see outside of that is quite different. Enter our conversation done at Steelfest 2024.

it's crazy that someone who creates such brutal music is this nice, good interview yet again. Saw them live at Barroselas earlier this year, they rocked the house, looking forward to seeing them again at some point.
It´s so good to see an interview with a guy not wasted like many others.
Keep up with the good work Jerry!
Excellent as always, Rauta!
💪
Great Interview! I learned so much about the Band's Philosophy!
Met them when we played Black Mass Ritual Fest III. Killer music and even cooler guys!
ANOTHER instant classic!!!
So sick!!! 😎🤘🏻
I've been waiting for this interview. Thank you!!
💪
Killer band with some fabulous albums… DOOM CULT & WoAaA are Monumental
The guy looks like some kind of Varg Vikernes, but bigger, stronger, healthier and wiser...
Let´s find out...
Great interview 🤘😎 hail from Arizona USA
Dude is huge! Great interview
Very good interview as always!!! Actually I saw Diocletian this year in Birmingham.
Great episode. This was Excellent man. This dude is quite interesting.
Rigel is the man. Met him in Wellington with Dawn of Azazel a long time ago and the guy is a champ.
Great interview! Positivt and renforcing! Enjoyed it with some stong-beer. Viewer/listener from Norway 🤟🏻
One of the greats of war metal. I have the master - enslaver album art tattooed on me.
Killer interview! Death Worship next
Ohh fk.. That would be phenomenal!!!
Probably hard to come by since irs not like it plays here often if ever.
Great interview Jerry!
Great point about encryption, I did notice his tshirt and thought he was going to mention something about that. Very interesting interview!
Fantastic Interview. I just had a short talk with Rigel on the Tour about Dawn of Azazel and I thought he is a really nice guy, but this goes through the roof !! I could listen to you guys for hours.
Great interview with one of the best War Metal bands in this planet 🤘🏼🍻
💪
What a fk'n cool guy!!
I fkn love their music, always great to find out legitimately cool people make the music you like..
😎🤘🏻
Great interview!!
Its funny I mentioned Cro-mags in the blasphemy video because you talking about rollins, for me it was John Joesph and Harley Flannagan who got me into the gym, martial arts, tattoos. I love what He's saying about weights and the philosophy stuff, His citing of David Deida, I was a fan of this guys music before( War metal for me was the metal genre most like hardcore punk attitude wise) but after watching this dude he's awesome.
I'm Italian. The correct pronunciation would be "Dio (like Ronnie James)-Kletz-ian". The "ian" part pronounced like the name, Ian. But whatever, pronounce it as you wish, as long as the music is killer, which it is.
He seems rather polite. He looks a bit like Varg.
if varg took every steroid going!
I do talk non- metallerd about Extreme Metal and what it does for you,. Metal is not for the Norm... Metal is inner spirit, but do appreciate Peace and Nature as you get Old.
Great informative video Jerry, but just a minor thing to point out…..New Zealand doesn’t have any kangaroos 😂. I could see his discomfort when you said that, but he was to polite to mention it
Well, live and learn :D They should have kangaroos. They are cool!
Mescaline energy. I like it.
Varg is looking well.
Jeez, how tall is that guy??? He definitely looks the role of being in a warmetal band. Killer shit as always though!
Around 2 m
I love panzerdivision marduk I just look at everything as their own unique thing not better o-rbest I'm sick and tired of that s***
By chance will we get a White Death interview?
White Death interview has been out for a few weeks already.
New album was mid and disappointing. Even tho Ryan Forster wrote lyrics for a song and Caller of Storms did a solo for another song, every song literally sounded the same.
Yeah. Far from DOOM CULT & WoAaA or the DECIMATOR mlp… no big deal as they often play tracks from those albums live
Gonna weigh in here. Interview was informative, and well done. Diocletian reminds me of artillery sorties, when I was overseas. They're broad, and relentlessly punishing, resulting in an opus of brimstone, and chaos, muttled, and overwhelming, and raw. Like when abysmal black plumes engulf your perceptual terrain, exposing the beauty of imperfections of war. My son, who was born whilst I was overseas, gifted me with this band[about six months ago], and their punishing opus's help me expose and devour my own humanity, and revitalize mangled sinew [with my beloved; ore]. I'm 46, and been in the scene since I was 14, been training as long. Being a man, kinda goes like this;
Your upon a chiseled steed,
The sword at the side, clasped.
Well statured, armor seasoned, but in capable, and respected precedence.
You come upon a village; They stare, but dare not look you in your eye.
They can see it, they know.
Women entranced, males cowering in feigning ego.
Yet all are aware, it weighs in the conscience.
A child approaches, from the dusk, innocently approaching you, on your embattled steed.
Gently; you escort her from your warborn path, and into the safety of her Mother's fearfully tear soaked bosom.
Train yourself. In Mind, In Spirit, In Element, and In Body. Don't start a war, rigorously prepare for war. Violence isn't a mystery; its your peace, that eludes you. It is a mystery to man; Find some, even the smallest piece, of peace, and guard it with the ferocity, and intellect of a wolf, yet to feast. Allow the piece of peace to take you to a place you've yet to see, but have longed to see.
If either of you guys are ever in the states [Detroit area], it would be a treat to share in our Ominous Flesh Discipline.
The cognitive process Jerry mentions [self-actualization] of personal growth is a Maslowian [Abraham Maslow] Ideology from Motivation and Personality. He also talked about Self-Efficacy while on the self-actualization process.... or the process of disciplined growth, not cutting yur dik off, and becoming a chump.Read The Rape of the Mind, by Meerloo
Thanks for the commen! Interesting read.
@@RautaMetal Thanks man, keep the killer interviews coming.
Great interview Jerry!
