Whoa it’s cool to see a news clip on black metal that isn’t just a condemning hit piece, that’s awesome. Maybe one day in the future we’ll see statues of the originators of the genre or musicians who have done a lot for the genre in general in a museum…that’d be pretty cool.
Its funny how the regular media in Norway talks about Black Metal like it was just as normal as the other popular genres. I cant imagine this happening in my country. LOL Even myself being a familiar with this kind of music finds it weird. So cool and weird at the same time.
@@Mitchery Ja, og derfor mener jeg at der blir feil å hevde at de grunnla BM, da det allerede var en etablert sjanger. De (Mayhem) medvirket til å vidreutvikle og etablere den norske BM sjangeren. Det er nok kanskje flisespikkeri, og litt for "nerdete" for den gemene hip som ser på kveldsnytt, men de kunne gnanske enkelt kutte ut ordet "grunnlegge" og bruke f.eks "norske BM pionerer".

Mayhem har gjort mye bra, men å grunnlegge black metal, njaaa. Venom og Bathory var vel enda litt tidligere ute.
Venom, Hellhammer og Bathory grunnla den første BM bølgen mens Mayhem grunnla den andre BM bølgen.
