  • I finally got around to making my rear bumper extension design from FRP. As usual the design comes from Fusion 360, printed things out on my Ender 3, and finished everything up with a ton of elbow grease! Enjoy!

This is so insanely cool! I am currently in Industrial Design school and being able to watch your manufacturing processes gives me so much inspiration for my own projects!!

I'll try Grandtourismo 7 model. These are mostly 3D scanned cars. I'm about to print a rear spoiler and than carbon fiber layup. Wish me luck =)

Amazing as always. This has given me a bad idea for my car. I messed up an exhaust cut out on my bumper. Ok well i didnt mess it up more installed the exhaust cut the hole then had to reposition the exhaust for clearance reasons so had to extend the cut out sideways and not it looks crap. Tempted to 3D print a shroud and then cover it in a few layers of fibreglass for strength and heat resistance. It wouldn't too close to the exhaust but thats why i say its probably a bad idea

How about doing a very thin print and add a couple sheets of carbon and then pull out the plastic and only install the carbon bit?
