  • As I mentioned before, I had some thoughts on what I want to do when it comes to rear bumper extensions. The idea was to create a hybrid between the nismo rear bumper extensions as well as the Hasemi ones. So I present to you: The LXGspec R34 GTR rear bumper extensions (3D printed prototypes) fitting nicely together with the previously made side skirt extensions!

    Next time you try photogrammetry try a few things;
    Budget like $1500 usd for a mirror less camera, a good prime 50mm 1.8fstop lens, and a good ring flash, also a circularly polarized lens.
    Put some polarizing film on the ring flash, align the polarizing lens with the one on the flash, and then when taking pictures, put the subject on a sheet of velvet and hang velvet behind it.
    This will DRAMATICALLY improve your scans for not nearly as much cash as expensive laser scanners

    I had the same thought of something in between nismo and hasemi! I am glad I was not the only one who thought such an extension would be ideal. Please let me know if you make a run of parts! Same with side skirts 😁

    I love the part you made. Do you have molds for sale?

    • @LXGspec

      Not quite yet, i'm still working on improving a few details, literally trying to work it exactly down to the millimeter. Next will be putting everything on the car and checking everything from all angles if things look right. After that I'll be making moulds so parts can be pulled!

    I really really want these but I have an R34 GTT with the Altia rear bumper, do you think they would fit? I know the lengths of the r34 GTR and GTT are the same but I’m not sure about how they would fit underneath, maybe with some adjustments they would fit? Thanks

    • @LXGspec
      @LXGspec  ปีที่แล้ว

      I fear it would take a lot of custom work to make these fit 😅

    • @tr-3b39
      @tr-3b39 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LXGspec yea my thought too 😟 I just love the way they look, the body lines seem to be similar, the little rivet that’s on the Hasemi spat near the wheel is also on my GTT bumper which is a plus

    • @tr-3b39
      @tr-3b39 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LXGspec I think my only issue would be the bits where the bolts are as on my bumper it’s more curvy than straight so I’d need to cut that out or just the bits around the bolts and try it that way
