I'm a huge carbon fan. I use weaved, wet, dry and forged carbon because I feel like they are the strongest and most beautiful materials to build or make accents with. The job done on the hood here is amazing! I really like the backlighting effect on the forged carbon look. I'm amazed! Bravo to this dude!

Very good Iv done lots too it’s an art so you make it look easy Iv never tried polyester resin first to stick the chopped carbon down then normal epoxy resin to finish I’ll try a sample

Once upon a time, carbon fiber was used because it was stronger and lighter than steel and other mediums used in automotive manufacturing. Now, people are using "forged" carbon, which is markedly less strong than weave, and they are applying it over the factory medium, increasing the weight of the original item. I liked carbon fiber when it was a performance thing. Not so much now that it's just a "wow, that looks pretty" thing.

You need a grommet between the fiber and hood , no? Wont the hood cut the fiber with vibrations? As I type, you scrapped the hood for carbon lmao. Heat gun when applying epoxy gets the trapped air out. Meaning less bubbles in epoxy.
