When we had our 1038 challenger one the cart I put the load gate and the auger flapper on the knob by the joystick I think they are the yellow and blue remotes. George seemed to like it and I thought it worked nice.
Pretty amazing watching you guys, you could be working across the road from a farm around Eston Saskatchewan. Working around the odd slough, checking the ground, same conversations and always glad to be out knocking down the crop. American or Canadian, a farmers life is much the same regardless of the border.
It is really nice to hear an honest opinion from someone that is definitely brand loyal, from everything I've saw anyway! Giving credit where credit is due is refreshing for once on TH-cam. Definitely not the norm.
That “Thing” has the same rotor that is in your green combine but had it 30 years ago. Took a while for Deere to see the benefits of a axial flow rotor.
I am really enjoying watching these harvest videos and watching this channel's explosive growth hitting 100,000 and then rapidly acquiring another 40,000 subs is leading me to believe MN Millennial Farmer will very soon be the most watched Farming Channel on You Tube. Well deserved Zach and Becky, you two are going to be Rock Stars!!!! Zach, for all these new subs I wish you'd put up the video where you and Becky went to California and rode on the float where the corn stalks had 9 ears. that is if re-runs are an acceptable thing.
I always look forward to your daily videos. I hope even after the harvest is finished you keep doing daily videos. Maybe do some farm tours at different regions. 👌👍

We’ve found that opening the sieve all the way like 17 then only adjusting the Chaffer to clean the sample up.. open sieve makes for more fan airflow and less kernels on returns.. concaves are adjusted to whatever mm cob size you have
LED’s are the the best. Relamp all your tractors and you won’t regret it. My dad told me 15 years ago when they first started coming available on the market that they would be the lighting of the future...well look at the world now, they’re everywhere! My dad, an old farmer, still knows a thing or two😏
A couple of big farms i know of in northern Illinois moved to challengers for grain cart tractors. First year for those guys moving from green. After harvest, I’ll ask them what they think about the move. Both brands were track tractors.
Love those cam angles on the head, grain cart and combine... you should put one on the semi trailer for unloading the grain cart! Keep up the awesome work!

The cart with the articulating duels make our cart float across the field. Around here there are few farmers running flotation single tires. Helps it pull easy with a 8370R and leaves the stalks standing to catch snow as we almost all strip till.
Have you tried changing the settings on the Challenger so it works for speed instead of fuelefficenty. You should be able to do it on the go in gearbox menu.
Hands down best channel on TH-cam. Not usually the person to stick around a channel but have been watching you everyday for a while. Keep up the good work man

Hi there i am a Ex john Deere mechanic and run a 9770 myself in Australia i did convert all my light to LED lights and the unload auger will through a fault code as the led had a lower resistance and this is what bring on the code and it will shut down the light as the controller thinks there is a short. I added a second light and that fixed the problem you could also add a resistance to stop the NO light problem HAPPY HARVEST we are in a drought and have had no harvest for 2 years your vids remind me what we are missing out on keep up the good work
Zach, Love your videos. I grew up on a large dairy farm in NE Ohio. Still miss it so I get to "farm" vicariuosly through you! If you haven't done so already can you go into the some of the patent and use restrictions , details etc... when it comes to seed? I doubt the public realizes that you can't use your part of your crop for seed stock if you bought your seed from a seed company. Thanks and keep it up. Ron B Ohio

We put new Tiger Led lights on our 9550 this year. Exactly like you said, we should have did that years ago!! It's amazing what the difference is!

I run LEDs on my equipment to you feel in the dark when you go back to the old lights happy to see weather holding out for you harvest like Alberta

the now have the cab on suspension and it comes standard on all 8RT
