For me maybe the sound was the worse, not because of its beauty or ugliness but because its so high that u might need ear plugs like in moto3 with these monocilinder. I dah an Yamaha xtz 125x and i put a short trioval exaust, took a ride with one earplug. When back, the other ear was like 25% less capacity of listening. I send it back to the internet store right away. Cant sacrifice myself for it. doesnt worth.
I had a classic 500. Absolutely loved the torque on inclines. I usually love to ride on cruising speed but once i tried to test the maximum speed. It went to 160 kmph. It was scary as the highway was a busy one and i wasn't wearing any protective gears apart from a helmet
Nice, I have a Classic 350, rejetted, short bottle, pod air filter, it will just touch 130 Kmh (about 80mph) absolutely wring out as hard as it will go. They are fantastic bikes that actually handle reasonably well. Under powered, yes. Under braked yes. Smiles per mile, constantly.
I ride the bullet 350, no disc brakes no ABS, none of that shit. The thrill of riding this motorcycle is beyond comprehension. Not made for everyone. You really have balls of steel man. Cheers!
best sound!!! I used to have RE Standard Bullet 350cc back in India installed with empty bottle silencer exhaust. More fun when you are cruising around in town on 3rd or 2nd gear the thump just puts a smile on your face. I miss those days.

Awesome british engineered bike which is still aging like a fine wine. For some, it may be slow as compared to other bikes but RE bullet is a masterpiece in itself anyone can't feel it special until they ride it
I can literally feel the vibration even watching the video. But I have to say RE is one of my favorite bike if you want to ride in Mountains. Its meant for power rather than speed.

I got my old iron barrel 500 up to around 78mph before I chickened out for fear of something dropping off with the revs (from either me or the bike) she's happiest at between 55-65mph :-)
I have a Classic 500 with red rooster performance exhaust. 130-135kmph top speed. Sounds like a cruiser like Hardley Davidson at those high revs. And once the engine is heated, it just does not want to come down to slower speeds. It is so much fun 😁😁
84 mph not bad however my Mash 400cc single achieved an indicated 92 mph allowing for optimism I would say more like 85 mph not bad for a Chinese rock off, just remember to change the engine oil more regularly as it is air cooled.
@@colincoleman2536 i always change engine oil after 3000km. So in VietNam, streets are not suitable for high speeds, very dangerous . 80km/h it not too slow and safe in my country :D

I just bought a Bullet 500 a month ago and have been riding it on the freeway. At first I kept it under 4000 rpm not wanting to stress it, but had to keep to the slow lane on the right (USA - also Calif). After getting behind even in the slow lane on some sections, I bumped it up to 4500 rpm (about 68 mph) and found it runs happily there. No vibration and my little wind screen works perfectly.
I once rode my std 350 for 450 kms with just one break for fuel it was so comfortable couldn't do it on any other bike ! Loved this video it was so engaging!

I'd love to have this bike on a winding 50 mph back road on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Single cylinder simplicity. For a top speed run you need to be laying down on top of the gas tank; sitting up you are like a sail in the wind also making stability erratic.

I use a Gopro Hero 8 which is mounted to my helmet chin (sometimes I mount to my chest, by helmet mount works better). For the audio I use the Zoom H1 recorder, with a deadcat wind guard and I place the recorder in my backpack. After the ride I just sync the audio with the video in an editing software.
