I'd like to see some actual comparison testing between the CIGS 200W panel and say a Renogy 200W flexible panel to see how close to 38% better the CIGS does. The claim sounds way to good to be true. Then again, they cost about twice what the Renogy panel does so maybe it's legit. Need to see testing.
Who has these things attached to the soft tonneau cover over the back of their pickup truck. And, how tightly can the whole thing be rolled up, when its time to haul freight in the box ?
Longer life span than other flexible panels maybe. They are too new to say how long they last. BoughRV lists a (10+2 year??) warranty if you buy from their site and a 25 year "performance warranty". Similar to some rigid mono panels that have a 24 year warranty.
Will Prowse mentions on his website (but not in any video I found) that no longer recommends any flexible panel including CIGS because of delamination. These would be great for my application but that makes me hesitant.
Thank you guys so much for watching! Are interested in purchasing a CIGS flexible solar panel? Which new solar charger should i buy?!

@@terenceoloughlin3927 once I get my new solar charger, I’d really like to make this happen 👍
I hope it lasts. I was stoked about the Rich Solar CIGS panels and bought 2x 80W for my van. One delaminated completely in
Appreciate the feedback Karl! I really hope that doesn’t happen with the lamination but I’ll find out soon enough
Hobo tech shot holes through his CIGS panel and it still worked at about 85%.
Yeah I watched that! Pretty impressive
How has this panel held up,and are the outputs as when new?
It’s held up surprisingly well actually! I have a little bit of fading in a couple areas but it’s minimal

That might be a little tight! Guess it depends what size your truck box is. Would be a great idea though! I’m sure it would work.

Time will tell! I’ve decided to stick with my Renogy ones since I have 540w but the CIGS tested out great while I had hem installed.

Yes I understand that! I’m currently testing these out for the same reason 👍 we’ll see how long they last before they start to delaminate
It's way too expensive still.
Don’t disagree with your comment at all! Thanks for watching 👍
Because they are so expensive….that’s why they haven’t caught on.
Yeah this is probably true!
Mono Glas Solar Panel is not durable??? Haha if you really mean that then you have no clue!! Sorry. In 99 % they are lasting for decades ...
I say “not as durable”. Micro cracking is very common in mono panels. Would love to see some proof to back that 99% statement.
House roof don't move rv do move and twist on roads. Monocrystal doesn't like that and I heard it reduces life span
