Hi there I’ve recently bought a vortex razor hd 27 60-85 angled scope and Iam trying to purchase the kit you have shown in this very informative post, please can you advise what to search for or where to purchase, I look forward to your reply
You would be able to digiscope with the Canon 600d and the Vortex Razor HD spotting scope. To do this you would need the Vortex Razor DCA and a 50mm fixed f/1.8 lens. It's a very easy setup, and delivers excellent results.
Do you know where I can find high quality sample pictures? I want to see the full capability of this scope in digiscoping! :)
Have question for you , I have nice Vortex Razor scope and bought the adapter kit.
I mounted as you show fixed lens , 80 mm, 100 mm and 24 wide lans and all of them show in the view finder grainy image and when you take photo , white image ?
Wonder what is wrong ? I am using 7D canon and very nice lenses but no luck ?
Would you have any suggestion.
Using I phone just putting close to the eye peace it shows decent clear image , but not using hi quality lens

I'm looking to get into digiscoping but I'm on a budget. I was thinking of picking up a Vortex Razor HD 65mm with my Olympus TOUGH and also my iphone 4s. I have a couple other options like an older Swarovski scope but this vortex seems to have the best reviews with a great price. Will this camera work with that scope? and well?
There are many versions of the Olympus TOUGH camera, some of which will work for digiscoping, and some of which will not work. Please give us a call at 1-800-289-1132 if you'd like to discuss digiscoping in more detail.
Having watched this video I have just purchased the vortex viper 20-60x85. As recommended I also purchased a canon 50mm1.4 lens. The only problem is that the adapter has now been discontinued. I have searched all over the net for 1 even in old stock but with no success.
With that in mind and before others do the same as I did and make a hugely expensive mistake. You should really remove or update this video to show that the adapter shown for use with a DSLR is no longer available.
Hugely disappointed by this and unless a 3rd party adapter can be sourced I will have to return the scope.
Did you ever find a 3rd party adapter that would work?
@@bradyasher7363 yes I did find 1 but it's pretty expensive. Approx £250 best I can remember. Had an issue with the scope and returned it so adapter went as well

should i use Aperture priority? secondly should i be in live view mode canon 7d?
can i connect it with canon 600d (DSLR) or where can i buy it and what about quality of picture
