Sony 200-600mm f5.6-6.3 vs Digiscoping

Comparison between different cameras at different subject distance.

Another interesting video - thank you. As I said in another of your videos - I am debating between kowa 88 and r7 (32mpx apsc is 1.6x ) and 1.4x and 1.6x mode (2150mm or 43x zoom) with image stabilization vs kowa 88 20-60. For which I have the choice of $2000 cdn (i have all but r7 but I have 7d2 so 1500 cdn) vs $7000 cdn (kowa plus 20-60 plus dslr attachments).
It looks like the sony 100-600/1.5x apsc mag/ 1.4x is as good iq and has better colour and contrast. The canon 600/1.4x is better than the sony 100-600 at 600 and faster (f5.6 vs f8) and the kowa. The r7 has a 1.6mode, image stabilization (vs kowa), faster lens (more light), 6k video downsampled to 4k with digital image stabilization and 30fps.
Thus by extrapoloation - its better on my pocket book and better image quality to just buy a canon r7? If I am missing something please let me know.

I am pleased to discover your video.
I'm shooting a birdwatching video at 200-600mm & a6400 right now.
My first equipment was Digiscoping, and I used rx100m2 for nikon ED, kowa 664 & 774. The connection used a Japanese Digisco Adapter.

Buena comparativa, La verdad es que no se ven grandes diferencias y la comodidad de enfoque del tele supongo que lo hace ganador. Yo hice varias pruebas similares con equipos diferentes, mi tele no era tan bueno, de cerca la calidad era similar, de lejos era mejor el tele. Tengo colgado uno a 15 metros. Habría que probar el extender 1,6x de kowa. Pero no he visto ninguna comparativa. Enhorabuena por el vídeo

which of the cameras is considered better? its a shame same camera wasn't used but still useful test. Kowa flourite glass is incredible to look through

None of those cameras there were full frame therefore had a crop factor between 2.7 and 1.5. Alas as each lens has a different magnification and field of view with the same lens, you would have to alter f-stop and shutter settings to suit any equivalence.
