The Filipinos buried their past, kept the lessons and moved on. They don't hate, they forgive but never forget. With Korea, they still continue to hate. Are they taught in school to hate a symbol? Let's be honest. We can't say all Filipinos are kind hearted. There are some who just can't understand that its unfair to hate a whole race because of one people. Foreigners who visit the Philippines most of them live here because "IT'S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES" even though we are not a rich country compared to Japan, South Korea, etc. but I'm proud to say that we live in a simple life with no pressure, in that way we are happy and contented

For the history we've colonized for how many times, the longest was by the Spanish for 333 years. Sad to say that some of our native culture,traditions and even our own writing system remove. Guess what? We forgive spanish and move on we never hate them, same goes with Japan we never hate them. We can forgive but it doesn't mean that we can forget. For the history we've colonized for how many times, the longest was by the Spanish for 333 years. Sad to say that some of our native culture,traditions and even our own writing system remove. I really appreciate that Korea really has a sense of nationalism towards their country. But when one Korean netizen said that Southeast Asia was poor and unfit for habitation, I felt hurt because Southeast Asia was included in Indonesia.
