Every country has their own personal history. We have enough to study. Learning Korean history is not part of our education & NoT our obligation to learn since we're not Korean & not living in Korea. Not knowing Korean history doesn't make any races uneducated. It doesn't makes sense. Maybe it's time for Korea to start their healing process. Filipinos also suffered abuses to Spaniards Americans, & Japanese but our grandparents taught us that the mistakes of the past are NOT the fault of the present generations😊

Hmmmm, i like to pose this scenario,.... what if some Asian person who hadnt been educated on American History, got a tattoo of the KKK, without knowing the history behind it or its meaning. Yes, it's not their fault for not knowing, but should they be excused then? Or is it their responsibility to learn first then?
Just what came to mind when i saw this at first. But actually, if you know the History, you will know that not only are KOREANS affected by this flag, But also China and also the Philippines. Japan suppressed many countries, the ones i just named included, especially China. So Yes it is part of their history too, so they should learn it, whether or not it is taught in school is another matter. What angered Filipinos is the fact that the whole nation was blamed and insulted for a mistake of a certain person who just happens to be Filipino, and she's not even in the Philippines. The entire Philippines don't even have anything to do with the issue. But Koreans took it to themselves and insult Filipinos for an issue they have no knowledge of. Bella Poarch is a Filipino-American but why didn't the Koreans insult the Americans as well, and only insulted the Filipinos who have nothing to do with anything? That's the catalyst that triggered the Filipinos' retaliation against the Koreans. Although I admit it's also wrong to fight fire with fire, you can't blame Filipinos to be on the defensive because we haven't done anything wrong against Koreans. But also, kinda understand why Koreans are furious and impulsive.

For those Koreans who hated Filipinos just remember the Korean war.
Well, what the Filipinos contributed to the battle of Yultong was never taught in their history subject instead hatred towards countries who have done atrocities in their country during world war 2 and invasions of other countries like China and Russia are included in their history. They should just put it in their minds that they were not the only victim of the war and invasions, most countries were! During world war 2 the Korean soldiers served in the Japanese regiments and they also did what the Japanese soldiers have done during WW2.

This is also a lesson learn for aome Koreans who really love bashing and sending hate comments. They are actually good at this, that's why there are a lot of Celebrities in Korea committed suicide.

Also, I just wanna add why filipinos are easily offended when someone attacks our country. Its also part of our history, we've been colonized for almost 400 years by other countries, that's why any attack that generalizes Philippines as a country may lead to such powerful movement, because Filipinos are defensive when it comes to other countries trying to belittle us and regards us powerless just like the old times.

During WW2 my father was 16 years old that time, He said that the First Japanese who invaded the country Philippines is Pure Japanese and a very courteous and respectful officers which love by natives but their soldiers was Koreans which is very abusive and recieves a bitchslapping from Japanese officers for being disrespectful.
