the cast and writing of this show was always great - DS9 stands alone in ST lore and I'm glad for all the precedents it set. I rewatched (binged) recently and the thing that really struck me is how great Cirroc Lofton is! He grows as an actor before my eyes from good to a damn scene stealer! I wanted to shout out that Jake's road is the road not travelled (not Starfleet) in ST and it's heartwarming to see that good writers are still needed in the future (and now more than ever!) Cirroc showed us that road in a masterful way.
Nicole de Boer is still cute as button since the day she first appeared on DS9.

i never realised it was Elim Garak aka Andy Robinson was him in Dirty Harry i remember that film well.
