The first thing I noticed was that the design allowed for more substantial speakers (desirable) and this proved to be correct. Personally, I like the design here, as you point out, access to all functions is immediately apparent and quick to access. When you layered the strings they came in as a subtle background whereas with most instruments they come in too loudly and then you need to adjust the balance whereas here, you can set that balance before hand. Most importantly though is it seems to be very desirable in all of the essential qualities for a piano, allowing good expression of your beautifully subtle playing. Seems to be a winner. The only tonal flaw I detected was in playing the low notes, there sometimes seemed to be something not quite right in the attack, but this is very trivial. [By the way, on the video the dynamic range you discuss isn't so apparent - compression by TH-cam? or something else?]

I just to buy this piano on amazon for 213€ after whatch your review, it will be my first piano!! for the price I think will be great, I don't think that fp30, es110 or 125 pianos be almost '300€' better than this one. Thanks!
I've been planning my move to Singapore for a while, and still debating how to handle the piano. We have Kawai GL10, which is a 153cm baby grand. Should I switch to a keyboard for apartment living? What are the logistics for a serious player in an apartment? On a similar note, if I stick to a grand, do I transport this one, or buy another when I get there? What is the used market like? Love your vids, interested in your opinions.
Unless your grand is an expensive and renowned brand & model OR if the moving cost is born by a 3rd party, it just way less hassle and headache to just sell it and get another one here. Loads of reasonably priced pristine used grand pianos here.
I was actually wondering if there are keyboards/digital pianoes that has passive radiators, and here it is Also awesome video again Mr. See!!! Guess I now know what is my next digital piano to buy XD
I really want to know if this is worth it. I need your honest opinion because I’m going off to college soon and the piano I buy will probably stay with me for a good while. Should I buy this piano or should I buy the Roland Fp30x.
Hi, I think you are better off to try them both in music shop to hear, touch and see which you like better. I bought a cheaper model of another brand, affordable, guitar effect sounds better than the expensive model. Voices are personal preference. I won't just rely on brand names.
Thanx Man This is the one Called Sweetwater as the customer service is great ! I had discoloring of rubber on Alesis E drum cymbals And they got me replacements

You should be more honest and objective when it comes to review this kind of products. The Alesis is one of the worst keyboards in this category/segment. Action is terrible. Honesty should prevail. Both the Kawai ES110 and the Yamaha P125 blow this one out of the water and the price difference is minimum.
😅 an extra $250USD or 50% more expensive isn't a "minimum" difference. You do know that in most parts of the world, USD$250 is an ENTIRE FAMILY's income for a month.
@@JeremySee lol the Recital Grand can be found somewhere between 400/450e, even cheaper depending where and when you buy it. Both the P125 and the ES110 can easily be found around 500/550e. My sister bought the FP30 for 479e in 2019 and this Roland also blows the Alesis out of the water despite it's weakness on certain aspects. Definitely almost no difference whatsoever considering what you pay and what you get. No way "50% more expensive" as you stated above.

Do you u recommend this for begginers?
Hey Jeremy, do you know when the Roland FP-10 will be in stock again?
I have no relationship with Roland and do not have the information.
I believe the FP10 has been discontinued by Roland..
The FP-10 is still in production. Supply is plentiful where I am located.
@@djba it isn't discontinued. Supply is plentiful in East Asia & Europe
What's the keybed feel compared to an Arturia Keylab mkii 88 ?
Hi jeremy, can you tell me the name of the first song you played?
Moon River
@@rorilee9791 gymnopedie no. 1
Great piano for this price range.
Nice review👌👏
Hey Jeremy, Do you know when the FP-10 is coming back??? I cant seem to find one anywhere.
There's lots of supply where I live.
Hello, what is the difference between the recital pro and the recital grand?
graded hammer action
Hallo! It's the same model, recital grand and Prestige?
Yes same.
@@JeremySee thank you man ;)
Excuse me Jeremy, and comparisuin wuth alesis recital grand and donner dep 20,who's better, for your opinion?
Is it just me or do Alesis keys feel really high? I feel like i gotta push down and travel a mile with each press. I hated my 49 key midi controller.
That's how piano keys are... Your MIDI keyboard has synth keys.
Hey Jeremy I need to buy a keyboard I am from India I can't decide which one to buy Yamaha i500 or Casio ctx 9000in I want best sound quality and someone says the Casio is better for best features but other says it's not user friendly and Yamaha every tones are realistic tones and it has best build quality tell me which is best please please please🥺🥺🥺
I have an ctx8000in and it's similar to the 9000in and I can say at starting it's a bit complicated at starting to use the interface but really it's just a matter of time.build quality of the ctx Is pretty good and tones are awesome
I just to buy this piano on amazon for 213€ after whatch your review, it will be my first piano!! for the price I think will be great, I don't think that fp30, es110 or 125 pianos be almost '300€' better than this one. Thanks!
213 euros?? what did you buy the recital pro? the recital grand is 400 euros and the prestige is 555
does the 61key have the same sounds as the 88 key
Como se llama la camncion del principioooooooo porfaaaa
What song is he plaging at 9:39?
Thick of it
I was actually wondering if there are keyboards/digital pianoes that has passive radiators, and here it is
Also awesome video again Mr. See!!! Guess I now know what is my next digital piano to buy XD
Thank you for your kind comments.
@@JeremySee your welcome Mr. See and thank you for your great contents 🥰🥰

The world needs a honest reviews of some Nord series by this honest man
Let's hope Nord sees this. 😉
Come si chiama la prima melodia grazie
what is the second song played??
i’ve heard it before but cant place the name 🤦🏻♀️😩
I really want to know if this is worth it. I need your honest opinion because I’m going off to college soon and the piano I buy will probably stay with me for a good while. Should I buy this piano or should I buy the Roland Fp30x.
Hi, I think you are better off to try them both in music shop to hear, touch and see which you like better.
I bought a cheaper model of another brand, affordable, guitar effect sounds better than the expensive model. Voices are personal preference. I won't just rely on brand names.
The roland is so good, we sell a bunch of them. Customers love them.
it has that vintage EP vibes to it :)
so coool
Thanx Man
This is the one
Called Sweetwater as the customer service is great !
I had discoloring of rubber on Alesis E drum cymbals
And they got me replacements
Did They have in red?? LOL I think it´s a great deal, hope they are aviable in Mexico Soon.... Great Review as always! blesssings!
😉 red is the rage now. 😅
Some sandpaper, masking tape, and a couple rattlecans of Krylon and it'll be as red as any Nord :D
OK Jeremy See
Now I’m a subscriber you just do so many videos I’m interested in I guess I have to see them all
1rst demo song name??
Gymnopédie
Does it have touch sensitivity?
Yes
The pivot point on that action looks horrendous
Ah, rats, I just got the Alesis Concert a few months ago, wish I had waited a bit longer and been able to get this one!
It's alright. Improve your skills and upgrade to a better one in a few years. 😉
I wish I could play like that, I love it
How Deep is Your Love...winter 1977-78.
You're the 1st to recognize it. Appreciate it. 😍
@@JeremySee Jeremy, this video here says 256 polyphony. I would see if that’s true? You said 128. Btw, your videos are the best!!! th-cam.com/video/Aao8HuzVRak/w-d-xo.html
That's the Prestige ARTIST. A higher model. The one featured in my video is the Recital Grand (PRESTIGE) with 128 notes of polyphony.
@@JeremySee Ah!!! Just noticed that. Alesis could do a better job of delineating that:)
Hey! Careful ---- at 3:23 ---- could have scratched the black key with that pedal! Only kidding heheh. Nice review of this Alesis actually.
😉😅
I wonder why they didn't include some pad voices.
I’ve owned mine for two months now. Some of the tones are good, some not so much. I was disappointed in the Rhodes style tones.
What piano grade are you? And would you have bought the prestige artist instead?
😍
AAAAAAA MOON RIVER!!!
oldie but goodie!
What makes this digital piano so bad in your opinion? I would really like to know as I'm considering buying it.
@@mlgl9728 where in the world can I get a 500 dollar p125 or kawiayou
Did you actually play the Alesis? If you did you would know the action is as good as the Kawai and way better than the Yamaha.
