That 427 is just a ticket what a nice find with engine like that under the Hood
Nice kept legend. Had an old 66 and loved that big block 352. 400 3 speed.
Ford made the best looking muscle cars ever
Agreed!
WOW BEAUTIFUL
Thank you!
beautiful
Glad you Rescued it.
Yery nice, and tastefully done!
Thank you. I can thank the previous owners for that compliment. I just cleaned it up.
I think this car was ford's best body style.
Agreed. Iconic big body car
I dad bought this fast back for me when I was thirteen years old, drove it to catholic school when I was in the eight grade parked it around the block, the nuns would not like it if they found out. I had a blast with it.
LOL SURE
Nuns don't Drive anyway! 😆
This would be my dream car... dang... just DANG lol I'd even want it black like that... or super dark blue lol
These Galaxies with all the bright work look great in dark colors.
Itz a Black Beauty with lots of chrome. Also like bucket seats & console
What a beauty! I have the same car, but it is red on red.....it's in pieces right now.
I really grew an appreciation for these cars with having this black car briefly. I also did a video with a red on red convertible you might want to check out!
Luv it!
So fine
So freaking AWESOME
Beast
I would like to own it 👍
Looks dang good
Thank you. The best looking full sized Ford in my opinion.
I have the same identical car, including the wheels. Mine has a red interior and side trim has red stripes in the middle though. Mine also has a perfect dash pad and factory AM/FM mono radio. No hood pins on mine because they never came with them from the factory. Mine has been restored to top concourse quality including the hose clamps, etc. It was a Macon GA barn find that I bought for $750. 8 years, and $20+ k later, it became 100% restored correctly. Even the wheels are the right vintage and I found them at a FL scrapyard half buried in the sand.
Very cool. I think that the black with red interior is a great color combo.
I have a white XL500 390. Black is looking a bit nicer to me but I think keeping it the original white may help the sale price.
Either black or white, both are good looking colors on these cars.
@@VistaCollectorCars agreed. And grabber blue or similar, like the "Code Blue Galaxie".
@@Human_Evolution- ford did not have 'grabber blue' in 1963
@@fransmith8992 not in this universe
It for sale?
It sold earlier this summer.
@@VistaCollectorCars Bummer. Are you able to provide the price? If you ever come across another one, I would be very interested. Any condition - manual and hardtop. Thanks in advance.

I'm listing a 63.5 427 convertible very soon. I'll update with a link to that auction when it goes live.
@@VistaCollectorCars thank you very much.

New video on the convertible just uploaded too!
Damn nice car!! Wish I could find one, hint
@jamesshingledecker3158, good luck with that.
Ferrari driver looked kink of jealous.
I thought so too haha
Beautiful car .... but my fav ‘50s to mid ‘60s car was the 1957 Plymouth Fury with that bitchin’ 392 Hemi stuffed up front. 🥰
Phil DeRosier, NOT from the factory that way.
they never offered the 393 in the 57 fury.
SHURE ....
A fellow in my high school had one exactly like this, he wanted a 1000 bucks for it, my dad wouldnt buy it for me. My dad was a smart man.
dennis laws, do you have any idea what that car is worth today? Mine was appraised in 2022 at $155,000.
@@sergeantmasson3669 The reason I said he was smart was I was 16 and I would have killed my self. I know its today worth a fortune, so the 68 Shelby GT 500 with a dealer installed when new, 427 genuine Cobra Lemans engine in it, I sold it for 2200 hundred in 76 Ran and looked great, low miles
@@dennislaws5187 lots of us had very fast muscle cars at 16 and we didn't kill ourselves.
@@fransmith8992 I know but at 16 I might have.
After market wheels? Naaaah.
Exactly ❗️👍🇺🇸
MrShobar, jealous much? Mine has the same wheels., Car was appraised in 2022 at $155,000. WTF do you own as a classic/vintage muscle car that's worth that much?
@@sergeantmasson3669 "Appraised" at 155K? Do you always welcome being lied to?
@@MrShobar Try again. What part of documentation do you NOT comprehend? Mine is the only one that has red in the car's outer side trim.
@@sergeantmasson3669 "...jealous much?..."Naaah. Even if true, that's worth much less than my new airplane (it's sweet).
