Bloodborne crossed with Elden Ring would be like a game set in the world of Berserk after the world convergence. A largely non magical medieval society having to adapt to the sudden catastrophic appearance of magical beasts and creatures the upends the world as we know it.

the guns in bloodborne never really did crazy damage, unless you specifically built your character for it by going high bloodtinge. Otherwise they're mostly for staggering.
Sony is so stupid for not even just porting Bloodborne to PC at this point. Making themselves look like clowns.
This mod is insane tho. The reshade and reskins of stuff look so good.
Just think about how much more playstations they sold just by virtue of Bloodborne being a PS exclusive, and how much more PSN subs and PS games they sold cuz that person now owns a Playstation.
If there's ever any clown, it's usually not the big companies, they just have different priorities.

A bloodborne game to the scale of Elden ring would be amazing.
Idk. Bloodborne was beloved because of how interconnected yahrnam felt with lots of verticality. Elden ring is so horizontal with open plains and horse riding, it wouldn't be true to the experiance bloodborne provided. Just like elden ring isn't true to dark souls so it's a separate IP instead of dark souls 4

@@jadenkootenay8549vertically vs horizontally is just dark souls vs elden ring. despite these level design differences the feel almost identical. Bloodborne is known for it's art direction. The bloodborne dlc for the most part is very horizontal, I haven't seen any calling the dlc unfaithful to the main game.
@@jadenkootenay8549 There is no reason why you couldn't have an area like Yharnam within a larger game world. Imagine if you could ride your horse across the countryside to other places but still have the towns/cities with interconnected areas.
You can tell Elden Ring was trying to do that, but it just wasn't on the scale Dark Souls and Bloodborne. The areas in Elden Ring were more like the levels in Demon's Souls, you had castle levels, cave levels and crypt levels and tower levels. Maybe the next game will have city levels, perhaps the AI can help them out to make stuff, it would be a crap load of work to put Yharnam as just part of a larger map.
Open World games are boring and repetitive...why does every game have to be open world ?
These modders deserve ALL the donations for this shit. So fucking cool. I might wait until its ready for the 1.12 version, but I'm still hyped to try this out asap.
If it wasn't too much trouble to install the mod and make it run, I'll probably try it too. I will wait until it's easier to run it.

Especially since things do giga combos on you but you can fight through the pain in some instances to recover some of your life. If Elden Ring played like ANYTHING but Dark Souls 1 it would be an improvement.
You can tell actually by watching this , that elden ring fights is made with roll mentality, just look margit, the bloodborne dash looks so goofy because of the more slow pace fight with a lot of horizontal attack

What I miss is when you die from a enemy, their eyes turn purple and you need to defeat that enemy to get your blood echoes back instead of them just laying on the ground.
Asmon, I wanted to tell you, there's a way to get to roundtable hold without fighting any bosses. If you go the The Third Church of Marika in East Limgrave, right behind the church amongst some trees and bushes there's a teleporter. Using the teleporter will port you to the Beast Clergyman, go and talk to him, then rest at a bonfire and Melena will appear the next time you rest and she will give you the option to go to the Roundtable Hold. Hope this helps :)

I swear, their next game better have a damn dash. Allowing the player to move, maneuver, evade, and be as aggressive as the enemies now are is the game-changer I need moving forward. I'm tired of being so damn slow. It's one of the reasons I keep going back to Bloodborne, and to a lesser extent Sekiro.
tbh, watching live and seeing asmon setting up the mod made the wait that much better!
Imagine if they ended up doing a Hunters DLC with Yarnham and other mentioned places yet explored with warriors using weapons like Sekiro and Bloodborne.

This mod could get insane if they keep working on it. Adding the doll, hunter dream and maybe even the insight system would be nice. To remodel every enemy will take a long while, but if the dev goes through with it to the end it's gonna be great.
I feel like the next Fromsoftware Soulslike will have the Bloodborne fightsystem with one weapon that can change. Maybe mixed with the Sekiro system

PC games were made to be Modded, thats why Companies line Sony or Microsoft that own Consoles make, or rather, force Game Devs to make their games console exclusive to be on console only for 7+ years, because of Greed, and because they DO NOT want us to fiddle around with game files and make mods.

Got this from the nexus mod page; You cannot play vanilla online while you are running this outdated version. Seamless Co-Op is the only multiplayer that will function.
Props to the developers. Amazing work I hope they definately get picked up by fromsoft.

corvianNoctis has been making really good armor/weapon mods for Elden Ring for a while, currently use a few of them for my witch hunter playthrough. He basically took all of his previous creations and made a full blown mod out of them, and then some.

If Sony were really smart, they'd buy this from the mod creators, make whatever touch-ups they want and release it. The modders would become millionaires for doing a passion project, and Sony would have new content to sell (and definitely profit from). Rewarding creativity is much better than punishing it for everyone involved.

God, i REALLY hope Asmon takes the time to check out what the Convergence mod has out so far. I know he's mentioned it before but he never played it on stream and it was, IMO, THE BEST overhaul mod for both DS3 and IS the best for Elden Ring (so far)
