You're right, my next video will be the finale of this ranking series. Ranking every cartoon I've talked about during this series so far! Posting next week 🤩👌
Gravity falls had 2 seasons wdym it got dragged out 💀 the creator had an ending planned out, had a bunch of planned secrets, and even CUT OUT some stuff to not drag it out.
@@RogongodIdk Yeah, Gravity Falls also had it's story and resolution planned out, I mainly saw OP mentioning Steven Universe dragging on and Avatar being planned as well and I agreed there. Even though Steven Universe ironically had a rushed finale. 😅👌
Steven Universe: I have a love hate relationship with that show. That show has so many flaws and issues and couldn't even properly convey what they wanted their audience to interpret certain relationships. They did it so terribly that half the fandom thought one way while the other felt the complete opposite. It had so much potential that went to waste. Despite this show's many flaws, it's still a show of comfort for some reason. The sappy songs, the simple, yet beautiful art style (even though character's constantly looked deformed), and the sweet, joyful to a fault filled protagonist really made this show something special in its own way. It's not perfect, it's far from it, but it really is a show that you can count on for feels. Star VS the Forces of Evil: That show started out so interesting. The world building, the character designs, the villains- it was all so fascinating. The art style was charming, the music was bouncy and fun, and the adventures we got to watch were a blast. The whole concept itself was a hooker. Usually it's a normal person going into a magical land and learning about the world there, but instead we got the opposite, a magical princess in a world full of logic breaking beings and things going into our world, normal and less literal nonsense. I, at first, somewhat shipped Star and Marco, but I quite loved the idea of them just being a male and female protagonists who got to be just best friends. We don't get that a lot and here we were introduced to what could've and should've been platonic soul mates. This show started amazing. Weird and wacky, but so fun. But the shipping ruined it. The writers did such a horrible job that even the Starco shippers ended up either hating the ship or even agreeing that the way they did it was a total disaster and not even satisfying for them. The relationship triangle was a mess, the constant breaking up and getting back together was annoying, and the constant talk about "this is how teenagers usually act" spoken by a teenager is clearly from the words of someone who had forgotten how teenagers actually spoke. This, like Steven Universe had so much potential to be an incredible show to be remembered for ages, but instead it's now remembered for one of the worst finales in this generation's cartoon history. Adventure Time: I haven't watched every single episode, but I still love it so much. It's so all over the place, but the writing is so good when it's lore focused. It's a bit chaotic and confusing for me, but it's definitely a show I'd always recommend to anyone who asks for a fun cartoon to binge. Gravity Falls: Honestly.. I don't remember much of this show. I used to watch a few episodes as they came on as a kid, but honestly I never got sucked into it as much as the other shows. Still, I've watched enough to know that it is a show worthy to remember. Spongebob Squarepants: First couple seasons, peak, last couple seasons, sucks. First couple seasons, animation was easy on the eyes and fun; the jokes were also quite enjoyable for both young kids and adults who were forced to listen to it. The animation for the latest seasons suck. I seriously hate it. I don't ever plan to watch any more of the new season. The older seasons exaggerated animations were done correctly. Had good, comedic timing and fit with the current plot or whatever. The later seasons the characters' expressions are exaggerated for no reasons except shock value, and not even that really. It's just too much. It's clear that they're running out of jokes and plots and as much as I love that show for being just a plotless cartoon to laugh at, it's time for it to end. It's better to have things end early while good, than too many seasons and total crap. Amazing World of Gumball: Great animation, hilarious voice acting, funniest gags, etc. I haven't seen all the episodes, but this show is great. All the characters are interesting and funny in their own ways and whenever I see a clip while scrolling through reels, tik toks, shorts, yadda yadda, I never skip them because I know I'm gonna be watching something enjoyable. Also Nicole is a fucking QUEEN! Avatar the Last Airbender: Okay, I could talk about this for hours, but I won't for my own sanity state right now at 2 in the morning. This show is THE. BEST. FUCKING. CARTOON. EVER. This is very much my personal opinion, so if anyone else disagrees, good for you, but this show is literally perfect! (obviously not actually literally) While this show does have flaws, it's very little and minor compared to the other cartoons in your video here. This show is the best with its worldbuilding, music, compelling and complex characters, THE BEST REDEMPTION ARC IN ALL OF CARTOON HISTORY, animation, and character designs. This show is so beautiful. The way it handles trauma, the way it handles people with disabilities, the way it handles with a character coming at a crossroad when it comes to revenge or keeping her morals? Everything is so incredibly well done. I could literally write an essay about how this show is the closest to being actually perfect. I so much to say about every character, but I'll spare you from reading for hours heh. This cartoon is masterpiece. Everything about it is beautiful. Every single episode is amazing in it's own way- yes, even The Great Divide despite being the show's weakest episode. Even in that weak episode we still get to watch the main cast and learn of their thought processing. I'm running out of ways how to say this show is perfection without repeating myself for the 3rd time, but it's just... wow. It's just breath taking. I'm only a bit disappointed that Aang wasn't more angry at Fire Lord Ozai for what he and his family had done. He was always gonna choose the non killing route, but it would've been interesting to see him have a moment like Katara when she faced her mother's killer. I mean, we did, in the Avatar State before pulling himself out of it to stop himself from killing the Firelord, but it was more keeping to his morals than a true, internal struggle of feeling the dangerous want of killing Ozai like how Katara struggled to NOT kill the human trash who took her mother. Putting the rest in replies because TH-cam wasn't letting me send the whole thing :')
Amphibia: Never got into it, couldn't really get interested it in so I got nothing to say about it except I'm sure it was a great show, whatever warts it has and all. The Owl House: I honestly love this cartoon. I seriously love how they handled the relationships between characters. Others shows focus on the plot, and while they focus on relationships and other stuff too, this show really does it right when it comes to relationships, miscommunications, and issues between characters. Steven Universe focused a lot on relationships too, but the way a lot of the relationships were handled weren't very good. Character's didn't talk enough, deep stuff. Not the way the Owl House did. The talk between Luz and Amity about Luz's feelings about her father and her ignoring those feelings by forcing herself into a competition that Amity wanted to do by herself was something just so... down to earth and touching. The ambiance was quiet, the emotions were very relatable for so many people and it was just done so beautifully. And I especially loved how the show clarified with Luz that despite her trauma of losing her father, it wasn't an excuse to force herself into Amity's business. Not enough kid shows today have the protagonist properly be self aware of their negative actions and actually be self aware of it and grow from it. Steven Universe prides itself in the relationships we see they have with each other, but it's just so jagged and lacks proper, down to earth words that feel like an actual conversation. When Luz and Amity hop into Willow's mind to try to undo Amity's mistake of burning a memory and hop back out, Willow doesn't immediately forgive Amity for bullying her for years. It's a very short interaction, but just that short interaction we got of Willow pretty much telling Amity that she's willing to forgive her over time was such a powerful moment. In Steven Universe (I'm comparing these a lot, but The Owl House does many things right when it comes to relationships where SU failed), Steven often forgives most people very quickly, too quickly and easily. You could say that he's just a kid who sees the best in everyone, which is somewhat true, but in reality, even the kindest person wouldn't treat someone who harmed them, their family, and their friends like they were best friends already. Same issue when it comes to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. These protagonists often forgive other characters for their transgressions far too quickly after the things they were put through. It's just frustrating to see them acting like such idiots. There's kindness and forgiveness, allowing someone who harmed you to have a chance at redemption. That's mercy, but then there's just foolishness and immediately putting your heart on your sleeve as if you're asking to be hurt again. You can both give someone a chance and still keep your distance until they prove themselves. It's not mutually exclusive, yet Steven Universe and MLP:FiM both have that issue. Luz does not forgive Emperor Belos, and nor is she forced by the writers to feel like she has to forgive him to be a good person. She is allowed to not forgive him and that is the biggest thing I love about this show. She is entitled to the anger and hate she feels for that pathetic excuse for a man. The cartoon doesn't force her to reach out her hand to give him a chance. The cartoon doesn't try to lie to kids and tell them that if you forgive your abuser, and even lend them a hand that you're being the bigger person. You're not a bad person for not forgiving someone who hurt you. You're not a bad person for refusing to lend them a hand for redemption when they clearly don't want nor deserve it. Just like in Avatar, I love how the writers didn't force Katara to forgive that old sad sack of shit. Even when we as the audience and Katara got to see him in his most pathetic state, begging for his life, Katara still was allowed to show no sympathy to him. She didn't back down because she changed her mind on him deserving death. She backed down because she didn't want to become a monster. She had already went past her morals just to blood bend. That was already terrifying enough to see what rage and revenge can do to a person. At the end of the episode, when she told Aang that she did not forgive that man nor would she ever, it was honestly healing to the soul. The people around me (who are very kind people and very much mean the best) always say that you must always forgive someone who hurt you to take the burden off yourself honestly are just spouting nonsense to me. They mean well, but seriously, I don't believe it to be true. It takes nothing from me nor other people to not forgive the people who have done God awful stuff to us. Okay, I'ma stop while I'm at it. Apologies for the essay long rant. To say in short, Avatar the Last Airbender is the best (story focused, relationship treatment) show of all time. The Owl House is in second place in terms of greatness.
@queenperrytheplatypus458 If you didn't like how "Avatar: The Last Airbender" spared its antagonists, you might be interested in "The Founder of Diabolism."
Haha, I respect the fact that Rose Quartz was written to be a conflicting character, it's why us fans can argue about her for hours years after the show ended. That being said I'm definitely in the camp of people that believe she was more of a childish villain than a hero. For many reasons but her tricking Pearl into staying on earth then cheating on our girl with "countless lovers" didn't help. 🤣👍
Avatar the last airbender supremacy
You're goddamn right, Avatar clean sweep for now. 😆👍
Avatar The Last Airbender for sure. 💗

Adventure Time is a strong contender I agree! 🤔👍

Gravity Falls I get, but it's an insult to have those other two dumpster fires in the same sentence as Last Airbender.
Lmao, you're ruthless... The Owl House stans might rip you apart bud, careful. 🤐👍

I would t call Owl house a dumpster fire, it’s a pretty solid show all things considered
