    I must say you are an inspiration because I started up investing and trading as a scared investor who doesn’t want to lose money, glad to say I’m very profitable now and bought my first house through it

      Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. I was able to increase my portfolio by $289k in months. You have to seek for help in the right places.

      This is the problem! Most times people with little or no knowledge of the stock market try investing by themselves. It once happened to me, then I learned my lesson and contacted a US-based finance consultant by name ''Jenny Pamogas Canaya '' and everything changed. In in the first quarter of this year i made $370k and counting.

    Stumbled across your TH-cam channel while checking out Edinburgh. I'm visiting there in May 2019.... I know, I know, Seems like a long way from now but I wanted to see what the city, country and people are all about! I really like your take on the city being from a different country! Thanks for the tips and videos!

      I agree, it is absolutely the best tour in Edinburgh, without question. The insight into the history of the city, and the people who lived in Edinburgh is such an eye opener. In fact this should be No.1 on everybody's list for Edinburgh.

      Truth is none of my friends ever appreciated fudge, so based on their general agreement I felt like I wouldn't make it my recommendation. Not like it's easy to miss though ,) !

    so what about The Witchery? I lived in Scotland for three year and during that time I visited Edinburgh many times, I never missed a chance to eat at The Witchery, also i bought a bespoke suit .which i still have the jacket,but wore the pants thread bare and beyond repair.also the Zoo is a wonder you can even take a double Decker bus right to the main gate.So maybe next time also The Scott Monument!(a moment in the Cloud Atlas movie shot in the monument.) I knew it when i saw the film right where they were in an instant.

    • @Kakibot
      @Kakibot  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've always wanted to visit The Witchery, it's a bit out of our budget right now unfortunately! But when we do a video about Princes Street and its surroundings I'll make sure Scott Monument will be part of it! (Climbing to the top is a fun experience to both people who hate small spaces AND heights! haha) Thanks!

      As a Navy veteran I have been around the world,but as a Scot Edinburgh will always hold a special place in my heart. as far as the Witchery goes,I was last their in the 80's so I guess the prices have gone up, I had lunch, Venison medallions, with a side of frogs legs and it was under 20 quid.I had a flat in Dunoon ,in the Argyllshire . Also Hogmanay is something you cant put into words for my fellow Americans, First Footing is a practice that could go a long way here as well.I consider the three year I lived in Scotland a blessing I can never put a price on. Slàinte mhòr agus a h-uile beannachd duibh.

    Kind of object to the "one day of the month military parade" description of the Edinburgh Tattoo. It is on for the length of the Festival and is an amazing show by groups from around the world finished off by the massed Pipes and Drums and you haven't lived till you have seen that (check out a TH-cam video).

    • @ericthemauve

      Keith Wright: As a true Scot, I wouldn’t be seen dead anywhere near the Edinburgh Tattoo. It’s strictly for the tourist busloads.

    Did a lot of work in Edinburgh, worked on the parliament, bank of Scotland at the toll cross, Westminster bank on George st, I'm a retired building trade worker and in the evening my mate and I would tour around Edinburgh when it was much quieter and most of our work was out of season and I must say I got to really enjoy Edinburgh and I met quite a few real locals not the blow ins and I had relatives across the firth in fife but as much as I enjoyed Edinburgh I found it very expensive and cosmopolitan and when I had to go to Glasgow for my company I must say I preferred Glasgow and my wife who absolutely adored Edinburgh and I had to really persuade her to come to Glasgow with me but when she got to know Glasgow she much preferred it to Edinburgh so much in fact that the last time we visited Edinburgh she couldn't wait to go somewhere else but I felt like I was treading old footsteps

    In actual fact, the Royal Mile is split into different street names (you find out yourself). Also, the Royal mile is slightly over a mile. Me fa Edinburgh, Canongate.

    What would you recommend for new time travelers? Is it easy to grab a cab from the airport and explore the city? I'm so worried I'll get lost!

    • @Kakibot
      @Kakibot  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Edinburgh is pretty small, plus the hills make it fairly easy to orientate yourself! But yeah, if you want to go airport-centre then you can grab the airlink bus which is under £5 . If you're travelling in a group of more than 2 people you might as well grab a cab though, tends to be around £20 to the centre and will get you right where you need to go (plus you won't have to transfer from the airlink to another bus which you might have to if the place you're staying at isn't literally on Princes Street!)

    • @emilye9696
      @emilye9696 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kakibot awesome! It's going to be me and my boyfriend. We might stay at a hostel close to the castle. What would be your #1 recommendation on visiting the highlands? I really want to see it and I have seen tours online but is there a bus route that goes out there that lets you self explore? We might fly to London out of Glasgow so would the bus or train be the best way to get there also?

    • @Kakibot
      @Kakibot  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hmmmm... Highlands are a bit tricky to explore on your own without a car... so for a quick trip a day-trip bus tour might still be the best option. It's less flexible but I once tried one that did Glasgow-Trossachs-Loch Lomond-Stirling and it was pretty great (we did get enough time to explore around the Loch and in Stirling). When it comes to London I recommend train if you book it early enough to not let it get expensive. It's definitely more comfortable than a plane and gets you from Edi-centre to LDN-centre saving you time and money you'd spend on transferring between the cities and their airports.

    • @cobeaum
      @cobeaum 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Easiest way is to get a tram from the airport straight into the city centre. Not a big city and easy to walk round

      Actually I've got some questions and maybe you can help us. We are going to be at Grassmarket while on Edinburgh (after going to some cities like Glasgow, Aberdeen and Dundee). Do you where we can eat a good Haggis and buy a good (and not so expensive) kilt?
      Oh, and by the way, my wife went to Prague some years ago and she said that it was the most amazing city she had ever visited! Congratulations!

    • @Kakibot
      @Kakibot  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmmmm.... I had a think but the only place I can think of is Room in Leith which is down by the waterside - so not central but if you're visiting Royal Yacht Britannia and the Shore then it might be convenient! They do great scottish food and it's NOT touristy. Obviously most places around the city centre will have some iteration of haggis available and it's hard to get it wrong so I wouldn't worry about it! .)
